| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: authencesn - reject too-short AAD (assoclen<8) to match ESP/ESN spec authencesn assumes an ESP/ESN-formatted AAD. When assoclen is shorter than the minimum expected length, crypto_authenc_esn_decrypt() can advance past the end of the destination scatterlist and trigger a NULL pointer dereference in scatterwalk_map_and_copy(), leading to a kernel panic (DoS). Add a minimum AAD length check to fail fast on invalid inputs. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: hp-bioscfg: Fix kernel panic in GET_INSTANCE_ID macro The GET_INSTANCE_ID macro that caused a kernel panic when accessing sysfs attributes: 1. Off-by-one error: The loop condition used '<=' instead of '<', causing access beyond array bounds. Since array indices are 0-based and go from 0 to instances_count-1, the loop should use '<'. 2. Missing NULL check: The code dereferenced attr_name_kobj->name without checking if attr_name_kobj was NULL, causing a null pointer dereference in min_length_show() and other attribute show functions. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uacce: ensure safe queue release with state management Directly calling `put_queue` carries risks since it cannot guarantee that resources of `uacce_queue` have been fully released beforehand. So adding a `stop_queue` operation for the UACCE_CMD_PUT_Q command and leaving the `put_queue` operation to the final resource release ensures safety. Queue states are defined as follows: - UACCE_Q_ZOMBIE: Initial state - UACCE_Q_INIT: After opening `uacce` - UACCE_Q_STARTED: After `start` is issued via `ioctl` When executing `poweroff -f` in virt while accelerator are still working, `uacce_fops_release` and `uacce_remove` may execute concurrently. This can cause `uacce_put_queue` within `uacce_fops_release` to access a NULL `ops` pointer. Therefore, add state checks to prevent accessing freed pointers. | ||||

| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. From 9.1.0011 to before 9.2.0137, Vim's NFA regex compiler, when encountering a collection containing a combining character as the endpoint of a character range (e.g. [0-0\u05bb]), incorrectly emits the composing bytes of that character as separate NFA states. This corrupts the NFA postfix stack, resulting in NFA_START_COLL having a NULL out1 pointer. When nfa_max_width() subsequently traverses the compiled NFA to estimate match width for the look-behind assertion, it dereferences state->out1->out without a NULL check, causing a segmentation fault. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.2.0137. | ||||

| The Tapo C220 v1 and C520WS v2 cameras’ HTTP service does not safely handle POST requests containing an excessively large Content-Length header. The resulting failed memory allocation triggers a NULL pointer dereference, causing the main service process to crash. An unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly crash the service, causing temporary denial of service. The device restarts automatically, and repeated requests can keep it unavailable. | ||||

| Sliver is a command and control framework that uses a custom Wireguard netstack. In versions from 1.7.3 and prior, a vulnerability exists in the Sliver C2 server's Protobuf unmarshalling logic due to a systemic lack of nil-pointer validation. By extracting valid implant credentials and omitting nested fields in a signed message, an authenticated actor can trigger an unhandled runtime panic. Because the mTLS, WireGuard, and DNS transport layers lack the panic recovery middleware present in the HTTP transport, this results in a global process termination. While requiring post-authentication access (a captured implant), this flaw effectively acts as an infrastructure "kill-switch," instantly severing all active sessions across the entire fleet and requiring a manual server restart to restore operations. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. | ||||
