CVE-2024-9779 1 Redhat 1 Acm 2024-12-18 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Open Cluster Management (OCM) when a user has access to the worker nodes which contain the cluster-manager or klusterlet deployments. The cluster-manager deployment uses a service account with the same name "cluster-manager" which is bound to a ClusterRole also named "cluster-manager", which includes the permission to create Pod resources. If this deployment runs a pod on an attacker-controlled node, the attacker can obtain the cluster-manager's token and steal any service account token by creating and mounting the target service account to control the whole cluster.
CVE-2023-29400 2 Golang, Redhat 22 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 19 more 2024-12-13 7.3 High
Templates containing actions in unquoted HTML attributes (e.g. "attr={{.}}") executed with empty input can result in output with unexpected results when parsed due to HTML normalization rules. This may allow injection of arbitrary attributes into tags.

CVE-2023-24539 2 Golang, Redhat 22 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 19 more 2024-11-29 7.3 High
Angle brackets (<>) are not considered dangerous characters when inserted into CSS contexts. Templates containing multiple actions separated by a '/' character can result in unexpectedly closing the CSS context and allowing for injection of unexpected HTML, if executed with untrusted input.
CVE-2024-1139 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Openshift 2024-11-24 7.7 High
A credentials leak vulnerability was found in the cluster monitoring operator in OCP. This issue may allow a remote attacker who has basic login credentials to check the pod manifest to discover a repository pull secret.
CVE-2024-5042 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Openshift Data Foundation 2024-11-23 6.6 Medium
A flaw was found in the Submariner project. Due to unnecessary role-based access control permissions, a privileged attacker can run a malicious container on a node that may allow them to steal service account tokens and further compromise other nodes and potentially the entire cluster.
CVE-2024-1442 1 Redhat 2 Acm, Ceph Storage 2024-11-22 6 Medium
A user with the permissions to create a data source can use Grafana API to create a data source with UID set to *. Doing this will grant the user access to read, query, edit and delete all data sources within the organization.
CVE-2024-4068 2 Micromatch, Redhat 7 Braces, Acm, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 4 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The NPM package `braces`, versions prior to 3.0.3, fails to limit the number of characters it can handle, which could lead to Memory Exhaustion. In `lib/parse.js,` if a malicious user sends "imbalanced braces" as input, the parsing will enter a loop, which will cause the program to start allocating heap memory without freeing it at any moment of the loop. Eventually, the JavaScript heap limit is reached, and the program will crash.
CVE-2024-28849 1 Redhat 13 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 10 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
follow-redirects is an open source, drop-in replacement for Node's `http` and `https` modules that automatically follows redirects. In affected versions follow-redirects only clears authorization header during cross-domain redirect, but keep the proxy-authentication header which contains credentials too. This vulnerability may lead to credentials leak, but has been addressed in version 1.15.6. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-28180 1 Redhat 12 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Container Native Virtualization and 9 more 2024-11-21 4.3 Medium
Package jose aims to provide an implementation of the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption set of standards. An attacker could send a JWE containing compressed data that used large amounts of memory and CPU when decompressed by Decrypt or DecryptMulti. Those functions now return an error if the decompressed data would exceed 250kB or 10x the compressed size (whichever is larger). This vulnerability has been patched in versions 4.0.1, 3.0.3 and 2.6.3.
CVE-2024-28176 1 Redhat 6 Acm, Enterprise Linux, Multicluster Engine and 3 more 2024-11-21 4.9 Medium
jose is JavaScript module for JSON Object Signing and Encryption, providing support for JSON Web Tokens (JWT), JSON Web Signature (JWS), JSON Web Encryption (JWE), JSON Web Key (JWK), JSON Web Key Set (JWKS), and more. A vulnerability has been identified in the JSON Web Encryption (JWE) decryption interfaces, specifically related to the support for decompressing plaintext after its decryption. Under certain conditions it is possible to have the user's environment consume unreasonable amount of CPU time or memory during JWE Decryption operations. This issue has been patched in versions 2.0.7 and 4.15.5.
CVE-2024-26147 1 Redhat 4 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Openshift and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes. Versions prior to 3.14.2 contain an uninitialized variable vulnerability when Helm parses index and plugin yaml files missing expected content. When either an `index.yaml` file or a plugins `plugin.yaml` file were missing all metadata a panic would occur in Helm. In the Helm SDK, this is found when using the `LoadIndexFile` or `DownloadIndexFile` functions in the `repo` package or the `LoadDir` function in the `plugin` package. For the Helm client this impacts functions around adding a repository and all Helm functions if a malicious plugin is added as Helm inspects all known plugins on each invocation. This issue has been resolved in Helm v3.14.2. If a malicious plugin has been added which is causing all Helm client commands to panic, the malicious plugin can be manually removed from the filesystem. If using Helm SDK versions prior to 3.14.2, calls to affected functions can use `recover` to catch the panic.
CVE-2024-25620 1 Redhat 3 Acm, Openshift, Openshift Gitops 2024-11-21 6.4 Medium
Helm is a tool for managing Charts. Charts are packages of pre-configured Kubernetes resources. When either the Helm client or SDK is used to save a chart whose name within the `Chart.yaml` file includes a relative path change, the chart would be saved outside its expected directory based on the changes in the relative path. The validation and linting did not detect the path changes in the name. This issue has been resolved in Helm v3.14.1. Users unable to upgrade should check all charts used by Helm for path changes in their name as found in the `Chart.yaml` file. This includes dependencies.
CVE-2024-24786 2 Golang, Redhat 22 Go, Acm, Cluster Observability Operator and 19 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The protojson.Unmarshal function can enter an infinite loop when unmarshaling certain forms of invalid JSON. This condition can occur when unmarshaling into a message which contains a google.protobuf.Any value, or when the UnmarshalOptions.DiscardUnknown option is set.
CVE-2024-22189 1 Redhat 4 Acm, Ansible Automation Platform, Openshift and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
quic-go is an implementation of the QUIC protocol in Go. Prior to version 0.42.0, an attacker can cause its peer to run out of memory sending a large number of `NEW_CONNECTION_ID` frames that retire old connection IDs. The receiver is supposed to respond to each retirement frame with a `RETIRE_CONNECTION_ID` frame. The attacker can prevent the receiver from sending out (the vast majority of) these `RETIRE_CONNECTION_ID` frames by collapsing the peers congestion window (by selectively acknowledging received packets) and by manipulating the peer's RTT estimate. Version 0.42.0 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2024-21501 1 Redhat 3 Acm, Multicluster Engine, Openshift 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
Versions of the package sanitize-html before 2.12.1 are vulnerable to Information Exposure when used on the backend and with the style attribute allowed, allowing enumeration of files in the system (including project dependencies). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gather details about the file system structure and dependencies of the targeted server.
