| CVE-2023-2801 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Using public dashboards users can query multiple distinct data sources using mixed queries. However such query has a possibility of crashing a Grafana instance. The only feature that uses mixed queries at the moment is public dashboards, but it's also possible to cause this by calling the query API directly. This might enable malicious users to crash Grafana instances through that endpoint. Users may upgrade to version 9.4.12 and 9.5.3 to receive a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2023-2728 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 3 Kubernetes, Openshift, Openshift Ironic | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| Users may be able to launch containers that bypass the mountable secrets policy enforced by the ServiceAccount admission plugin when using ephemeral containers. The policy ensures pods running with a service account may only reference secrets specified in the service account’s secrets field. Kubernetes clusters are only affected if the ServiceAccount admission plugin and the `kubernetes.io/enforce-mountable-secrets` annotation are used together with ephemeral containers. | ||||
| CVE-2023-2727 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 3 Kubernetes, Openshift, Openshift Ironic | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| Users may be able to launch containers using images that are restricted by ImagePolicyWebhook when using ephemeral containers. Kubernetes clusters are only affected if the ImagePolicyWebhook admission plugin is used together with ephemeral containers. | ||||
| CVE-2023-2183 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage | 2025-02-13 | 4.1 Medium |
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. The option to send a test alert is not available from the user panel UI for users having the Viewer role. It is still possible for a user with the Viewer role to send a test alert using the API as the API does not check access to this function. This might enable malicious users to abuse the functionality by sending multiple alert messages to e-mail and Slack, spamming users, prepare Phishing attack or block SMTP server. Users may upgrade to version 9.5.3, 9.4.12, 9.3.15, 9.2.19 and 8.5.26 to receive a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2023-28709 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 5 Tomcat, Debian Linux, 7-mode Transition Tool and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| The fix for CVE-2023-24998 was incomplete for Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M2 to 11.0.0-M4, 10.1.5 to 10.1.7, 9.0.71 to 9.0.73 and 8.5.85 to 8.5.87. If non-default HTTP connector settings were used such that the maxParameterCount could be reached using query string parameters and a request was submitted that supplied exactly maxParameterCount parameters in the query string, the limit for uploaded request parts could be bypassed with the potential for a denial of service to occur. | ||||
| CVE-2023-26464 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Log4j, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Eus and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| ** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** When using the Chainsaw or SocketAppender components with Log4j 1.x on JRE less than 1.7, an attacker that manages to cause a logging entry involving a specially-crafted (ie, deeply nested) hashmap or hashtable (depending on which logging component is in use) to be processed could exhaust the available memory in the virtual machine and achieve Denial of Service when the object is deserialized. This issue affects Apache Log4j before 2. Affected users are recommended to update to Log4j 2.x. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. | ||||
| CVE-2023-26115 | 2 Redhat, Word-wrap Project | 7 Logging, Network Observ Optr, Openshift and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| All versions of the package word-wrap are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) due to the usage of an insecure regular expression within the result variable. | ||||
| CVE-2023-20593 | 4 Amd, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 147 Athlon Gold 7220u, Athlon Gold 7220u Firmware, Epyc 7232p and 144 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.5 Medium |
| An issue in “Zen 2” CPUs, under specific microarchitectural circumstances, may allow an attacker to potentially access sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1999 | 2 Redhat, Webmproject | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| There exists a use after free/double free in libwebp. An attacker can use the ApplyFiltersAndEncode() function and loop through to free best.bw and assign best = trial pointer. The second loop will then return 0 because of an Out of memory error in VP8 encoder, the pointer is still assigned to trial and the AddressSanitizer will attempt a double free. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1998 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.6 Medium |
| The Linux kernel allows userspace processes to enable mitigations by calling prctl with PR_SET_SPECULATION_CTRL which disables the speculation feature as well as by using seccomp. We had noticed that on VMs of at least one major cloud provider, the kernel still left the victim process exposed to attacks in some cases even after enabling the spectre-BTI mitigation with prctl. The same behavior can be observed on a bare-metal machine when forcing the mitigation to IBRS on boot command line. This happened because when plain IBRS was enabled (not enhanced IBRS), the kernel had some logic that determined that STIBP was not needed. The IBRS bit implicitly protects against cross-thread branch target injection. However, with legacy IBRS, the IBRS bit was cleared on returning to userspace, due to performance reasons, which disabled the implicit STIBP and left userspace threads vulnerable to cross-thread branch target injection against which STIBP protects. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1829 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux Kernel traffic control index filter (tcindex) can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The tcindex_delete function which does not properly deactivate filters in case of a perfect hashes while deleting the underlying structure which can later lead to double freeing the structure. A local attacker user can use this vulnerability to elevate its privileges to root. We recommend upgrading past commit 8c710f75256bb3cf05ac7b1672c82b92c43f3d28. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1387 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage | 2025-02-13 | 4.2 Medium |
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Starting with the 9.1 branch, Grafana introduced the ability to search for a JWT in the URL query parameter auth_token and use it as the authentication token. By enabling the "url_login" configuration option (disabled by default), a JWT might be sent to data sources. If an attacker has access to the data source, the leaked token could be used to authenticate to Grafana. | ||||
| CVE-2022-46751 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 5 Ivy, Amq Streams, Camel Spring Boot and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.2 High |
| Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference, XML Injection (aka Blind XPath Injection) vulnerability in Apache Software Foundation Apache Ivy.This issue affects any version of Apache Ivy prior to 2.5.2. When Apache Ivy prior to 2.5.2 parses XML files - either its own configuration, Ivy files or Apache Maven POMs - it will allow downloading external document type definitions and expand any entity references contained therein when used. This can be used to exfiltrate data, access resources only the machine running Ivy has access to or disturb the execution of Ivy in different ways. Starting with Ivy 2.5.2 DTD processing is disabled by default except when parsing Maven POMs where the default is to allow DTD processing but only to include a DTD snippet shipping with Ivy that is needed to deal with existing Maven POMs that are not valid XML files but are nevertheless accepted by Maven. Access can be be made more lenient via newly introduced system properties where needed. Users of Ivy prior to version 2.5.2 can use Java system properties to restrict processing of external DTDs, see the section about "JAXP Properties for External Access restrictions" inside Oracle's "Java API for XML Processing (JAXP) Security Guide". | ||||
| CVE-2022-44730 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 4 Xml Graphics Batik, Debian Linux, Camel Spring Boot and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 4.4 Medium |
| Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache Software Foundation Apache XML Graphics Batik. This issue affects Apache XML Graphics Batik: 1.16. A malicious SVG can probe user profile / data and send it directly as parameter to a URL. | ||||
| CVE-2022-44729 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 4 Xml Graphics Batik, Debian Linux, Camel Spring Boot and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.1 High |
| Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache Software Foundation Apache XML Graphics Batik. This issue affects Apache XML Graphics Batik: 1.16. On version 1.16, a malicious SVG could trigger loading external resources by default, causing resource consumption or in some cases even information disclosure. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.17 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2022-3172 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 3 Apiserver, Openshift, Openshift Data Foundation | 2025-02-13 | 5.1 Medium |
| A security issue was discovered in kube-apiserver that allows an aggregated API server to redirect client traffic to any URL. This could lead to the client performing unexpected actions as well as forwarding the client's API server credentials to third parties. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2196 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.8 Medium |
| A regression exists in the Linux Kernel within KVM: nVMX that allowed for speculative execution attacks. L2 can carry out Spectre v2 attacks on L1 due to L1 thinking it doesn't need retpolines or IBPB after running L2 due to KVM (L0) advertising eIBRS support to L1. An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or past commit 2e7eab81425a | ||||
| CVE-2022-25147 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 7 Portable Runtime Utility, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability in apr_base64 functions of Apache Portable Runtime Utility (APR-util) allows an attacker to write beyond bounds of a buffer. This issue affects Apache Portable Runtime Utility (APR-util) 1.6.1 and prior versions. | ||||
| CVE-2022-23540 | 2 Auth0, Redhat | 2 Jsonwebtoken, Openshift Data Foundation | 2025-02-13 | 6.4 Medium |
| In versions `<=8.5.1` of `jsonwebtoken` library, lack of algorithm definition in the `jwt.verify()` function can lead to signature validation bypass due to defaulting to the `none` algorithm for signature verification. Users are affected if you do not specify algorithms in the `jwt.verify()` function. This issue has been fixed, please update to version 9.0.0 which removes the default support for the none algorithm in the `jwt.verify()` method. There will be no impact, if you update to version 9.0.0 and you don’t need to allow for the `none` algorithm. If you need 'none' algorithm, you have to explicitly specify that in `jwt.verify()` options. | ||||
| CVE-2006-20001 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Http Server, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| A carefully crafted If: request header can cause a memory read, or write of a single zero byte, in a pool (heap) memory location beyond the header value sent. This could cause the process to crash. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.54 and earlier. | ||||
