| CVE-2023-0620 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 3 Vault, Openshift, Openshift Data Foundation | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise versions 0.8.0 through 1.13.1 are vulnerable to an SQL injection attack when configuring the Microsoft SQL (MSSQL) Database Storage Backend. When configuring the MSSQL plugin through the local, certain parameters are not sanitized when passed to the user-provided MSSQL database. An attacker may modify these parameters to execute a malicious SQL command. This issue is fixed in versions 1.13.1, 1.12.5, and 1.11.9. | ||||
| CVE-2022-41717 | 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat | 25 Fedora, Go, Http2 and 22 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| An attacker can cause excessive memory growth in a Go server accepting HTTP/2 requests. HTTP/2 server connections contain a cache of HTTP header keys sent by the client. While the total number of entries in this cache is capped, an attacker sending very large keys can cause the server to allocate approximately 64 MiB per open connection. | ||||
| CVE-2022-41715 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 24 Go, Acm, Ceph Storage and 21 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Programs which compile regular expressions from untrusted sources may be vulnerable to memory exhaustion or denial of service. The parsed regexp representation is linear in the size of the input, but in some cases the constant factor can be as high as 40,000, making relatively small regexps consume much larger amounts of memory. After fix, each regexp being parsed is limited to a 256 MB memory footprint. Regular expressions whose representation would use more space than that are rejected. Normal use of regular expressions is unaffected. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2880 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 20 Go, Acm, Ceph Storage and 17 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Requests forwarded by ReverseProxy include the raw query parameters from the inbound request, including unparsable parameters rejected by net/http. This could permit query parameter smuggling when a Go proxy forwards a parameter with an unparsable value. After fix, ReverseProxy sanitizes the query parameters in the forwarded query when the outbound request's Form field is set after the ReverseProxy. Director function returns, indicating that the proxy has parsed the query parameters. Proxies which do not parse query parameters continue to forward the original query parameters unchanged. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2879 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 16 Go, Container Native Virtualization, Devtools and 13 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Reader.Read does not set a limit on the maximum size of file headers. A maliciously crafted archive could cause Read to allocate unbounded amounts of memory, potentially causing resource exhaustion or panics. After fix, Reader.Read limits the maximum size of header blocks to 1 MiB. | ||||
| CVE-2023-28642 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 6 Runc, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 3 more | 2025-02-12 | 6.1 Medium |
| runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers according to the OCI specification. It was found that AppArmor can be bypassed when `/proc` inside the container is symlinked with a specific mount configuration. This issue has been fixed in runc version 1.1.5, by prohibiting symlinked `/proc`. See PR #3785 for details. users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid using an untrusted container image. | ||||
| CVE-2023-25809 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 3 Runc, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-02-12 | 5 Medium |
| runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers according to the OCI specification. In affected versions it was found that rootless runc makes `/sys/fs/cgroup` writable in following conditons: 1. when runc is executed inside the user namespace, and the `config.json` does not specify the cgroup namespace to be unshared (e.g.., `(docker|podman|nerdctl) run --cgroupns=host`, with Rootless Docker/Podman/nerdctl) or 2. when runc is executed outside the user namespace, and `/sys` is mounted with `rbind, ro` (e.g., `runc spec --rootless`; this condition is very rare). A container may gain the write access to user-owned cgroup hierarchy `/sys/fs/cgroup/user.slice/...` on the host . Other users's cgroup hierarchies are not affected. Users are advised to upgrade to version 1.1.5. Users unable to upgrade may unshare the cgroup namespace (`(docker|podman|nerdctl) run --cgroupns=private)`. This is the default behavior of Docker/Podman/nerdctl on cgroup v2 hosts. or add `/sys/fs/cgroup` to `maskedPaths`. | ||||
| CVE-2019-25210 | 2 Helm, Redhat | 3 Helm, Advanced Cluster Security, Openshift | 2025-02-11 | 9.1 Critical |
| An issue was discovered in Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Helm through 3.13.3. It displays values of secrets when the --dry-run flag is used. This is a security concern in some use cases, such as a --dry-run call by a CI/CD tool. NOTE: the vendor's position is that this behavior was introduced intentionally, and cannot be removed without breaking backwards compatibility (some users may be relying on these values). Also, it is not the Helm Project's responsibility if a user decides to use --dry-run within a CI/CD environment whose output is visible to unauthorized persons. | ||||
| CVE-2022-36769 | 2 Ibm, Redhat | 2 Cloud Pak For Data, Openshift | 2025-01-31 | 7.2 High |
| IBM Cloud Pak for Data 4.5 and 4.6 could allow a privileged user to upload malicious files of dangerous types that can be automatically processed within the product's environment. IBM X-Force ID: 232034. | ||||
| CVE-2023-30841 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 2 Baremetal Operator, Openshift | 2025-01-31 | 6 Medium |
| Baremetal Operator (BMO) is a bare metal host provisioning integration for Kubernetes. Prior to version 0.3.0, ironic and ironic-inspector deployed within Baremetal Operator using the included `deploy.sh` store their `.htpasswd` files as ConfigMaps instead of Secrets. This causes the plain-text username and hashed password to be readable by anyone having a cluster-wide read-access to the management cluster, or access to the management cluster's Etcd storage. This issue is patched in baremetal-operator PR#1241, and is included in BMO release 0.3.0 onwards. As a workaround, users may modify the kustomizations and redeploy the BMO, or recreate the required ConfigMaps as Secrets per instructions in baremetal-operator PR#1241. | ||||
| CVE-2023-26125 | 2 Gin-gonic, Redhat | 5 Gin, Migration Toolkit Applications, Migration Toolkit Virtualization and 2 more | 2025-01-29 | 5.6 Medium |
| Versions of the package github.com/gin-gonic/gin before 1.9.0 are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation by allowing an attacker to use a specially crafted request via the X-Forwarded-Prefix header, potentially leading to cache poisoning. **Note:** Although this issue does not pose a significant threat on its own it can serve as an input vector for other more impactful vulnerabilities. However, successful exploitation may depend on the server configuration and whether the header is used in the application logic. | ||||
| CVE-2023-30551 | 2 Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 2 Rekor, Openshift | 2025-01-29 | 7.5 High |
| Rekor is an open source software supply chain transparency log. Rekor prior to version 1.1.1 may crash due to out of memory (OOM) conditions caused by reading archive metadata files into memory without checking their sizes first. Verification of a JAR file submitted to Rekor can cause an out of memory crash if files within the META-INF directory of the JAR are sufficiently large. Parsing of an APK file submitted to Rekor can cause an out of memory crash if the .SIGN or .PKGINFO files within the APK are sufficiently large. The OOM crash has been patched in Rekor version 1.1.1. There are no known workarounds. | ||||
| CVE-2023-29400 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 22 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 19 more | 2025-01-24 | 7.3 High |
| Templates containing actions in unquoted HTML attributes (e.g. "attr={{.}}") executed with empty input can result in output with unexpected results when parsed due to HTML normalization rules. This may allow injection of arbitrary attributes into tags. | ||||
| CVE-2023-24540 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 20 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 17 more | 2025-01-24 | 9.8 Critical |
| Not all valid JavaScript whitespace characters are considered to be whitespace. Templates containing whitespace characters outside of the character set "\t\n\f\r\u0020\u2028\u2029" in JavaScript contexts that also contain actions may not be properly sanitized during execution. | ||||
| CVE-2023-24539 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 22 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 19 more | 2025-01-24 | 7.3 High |
| Angle brackets (<>) are not considered dangerous characters when inserted into CSS contexts. Templates containing multiple actions separated by a '/' character can result in unexpectedly closing the CSS context and allowing for injection of unexpected HTML, if executed with untrusted input. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32981 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Pipeline Utility Steps, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2025-01-24 | 8.8 High |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability in Jenkins Pipeline Utility Steps Plugin 2.15.2 and earlier allows attackers able to provide crafted archives as parameters to create or replace arbitrary files on the agent file system with attacker-specified content. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32980 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Email Extension, Openshift | 2025-01-23 | 4.3 Medium |
| A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Jenkins Email Extension Plugin allows attackers to make another user stop watching an attacker-specified job. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32979 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Email Extension, Openshift | 2025-01-23 | 4.3 Medium |
| Jenkins Email Extension Plugin does not perform a permission check in a method implementing form validation, allowing attackers with Overall/Read permission to check for the existence of files in the email-templates/ directory in the Jenkins home directory on the controller file system. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32977 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Pipeline\, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2025-01-23 | 5.4 Medium |
| Jenkins Pipeline: Job Plugin does not escape the display name of the build that caused an earlier build to be aborted, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to set build display names immediately. | ||||
| CVE-2023-2295 | 2 Libreswan, Redhat | 7 Libreswan, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 4 more | 2025-01-22 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability was found in the libreswan library. This security issue occurs when an IKEv1 Aggressive Mode packet is received with only unacceptable crypto algorithms, and the response packet is not sent with a zero responder SPI. When a subsequent packet is received where the sender reuses the libreswan responder SPI as its own initiator SPI, the pluto daemon state machine crashes. No remote code execution is possible. This CVE exists because of a CVE-2023-30570 security regression for libreswan package in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2. | ||||
