CVE-2023-3462 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 3 Vault, Openshift, Openshift Data Foundation | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
HashiCorp's Vault and Vault Enterprise are vulnerable to user enumeration when using the LDAP auth method. An attacker may submit requests of existent and non-existent LDAP users and observe the response from Vault to check if the account is valid on the LDAP server. This vulnerability is fixed in Vault 1.14.1 and 1.13.5.
CVE-2023-3089 | 1 Redhat | 18 Acm, Amq Streams, Container Native Virtualization and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | 7 High |
A compliance problem was found in the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Red Hat discovered that, when FIPS mode was enabled, not all of the cryptographic modules in use were FIPS-validated.
CVE-2023-39615 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 6 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Openshift and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Xmlsoft Libxml2 v2.11.0 was discovered to contain an out-of-bounds read via the xmlSAX2StartElement() function at /libxml2/SAX2.c. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted XML file. NOTE: the vendor's position is that the product does not support the legacy SAX1 interface with custom callbacks; there is a crash even without crafted input.
CVE-2023-39325 | 4 Fedoraproject, Golang, Netapp and 1 more | 53 Fedora, Go, Http2 and 50 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A malicious HTTP/2 client which rapidly creates requests and immediately resets them can cause excessive server resource consumption. While the total number of requests is bounded by the http2.Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting, resetting an in-progress request allows the attacker to create a new request while the existing one is still executing. With the fix applied, HTTP/2 servers now bound the number of simultaneously executing handler goroutines to the stream concurrency limit (MaxConcurrentStreams). New requests arriving when at the limit (which can only happen after the client has reset an existing, in-flight request) will be queued until a handler exits. If the request queue grows too large, the server will terminate the connection. This issue is also fixed in golang.org/x/net/http2 for users manually configuring HTTP/2. The default stream concurrency limit is 250 streams (requests) per HTTP/2 connection. This value may be adjusted using the golang.org/x/net/http2 package; see the Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting and the ConfigureServer function.
CVE-2023-39322 | 3 Go Standard Library, Golang, Redhat | 18 Crypto Tls, Go, Acm and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
QUIC connections do not set an upper bound on the amount of data buffered when reading post-handshake messages, allowing a malicious QUIC connection to cause unbounded memory growth. With fix, connections now consistently reject messages larger than 65KiB in size.
CVE-2023-39321 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 17 Go, Acm, Ansible Automation Platform and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Processing an incomplete post-handshake message for a QUIC connection can cause a panic.
CVE-2023-39319 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 15 Go, Acm, Enterprise Linux and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
The html/template package does not apply the proper rules for handling occurrences of "<script", "<!--", and "</script" within JS literals in <script> contexts. This may cause the template parser to improperly consider script contexts to be terminated early, causing actions to be improperly escaped. This could be leveraged to perform an XSS attack.
CVE-2023-39318 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 15 Go, Acm, Enterprise Linux and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
The html/template package does not properly handle HTML-like "" comment tokens, nor hashbang "#!" comment tokens, in <script> contexts. This may cause the template parser to improperly interpret the contents of <script> contexts, causing actions to be improperly escaped. This may be leveraged to perform an XSS attack.
CVE-2023-37788 | 2 Goproxy Project, Redhat | 6 Goproxy, Acm, Openshift and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
goproxy v1.1 was discovered to contain an issue which can lead to a Denial of service (DoS) via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2023-2121 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 2 Vault, Openshift Data Foundation | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
Vault and Vault Enterprise's (Vault) key-value v2 (kv-v2) diff viewer allowed HTML injection into the Vault web UI through key values. This vulnerability, CVE-2023-2121, is fixed in Vault 1.14.0, 1.13.3, 1.12.7, and 1.11.11.
CVE-2023-29409 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 20 Go, Ansible Automation Platform, Cert Manager and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Extremely large RSA keys in certificate chains can cause a client/server to expend significant CPU time verifying signatures. With fix, the size of RSA keys transmitted during handshakes is restricted to <= 8192 bits. Based on a survey of publicly trusted RSA keys, there are currently only three certificates in circulation with keys larger than this, and all three appear to be test certificates that are not actively deployed. It is possible there are larger keys in use in private PKIs, but we target the web PKI, so causing breakage here in the interests of increasing the default safety of users of crypto/tls seems reasonable.
CVE-2023-29406 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 19 Go, Advanced Cluster Security, Cryostat and 16 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
The HTTP/1 client does not fully validate the contents of the Host header. A maliciously crafted Host header can inject additional headers or entire requests. With fix, the HTTP/1 client now refuses to send requests containing an invalid Request.Host or Request.URL.Host value.
CVE-2023-28487 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Sudo Project | 5 Active Iq Unified Manager, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Data Foundation and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Sudo before 1.9.13 does not escape control characters in sudoreplay output.
CVE-2023-28486 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Sudo Project | 5 Active Iq Unified Manager, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Data Foundation and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Sudo before 1.9.13 does not escape control characters in log messages.
CVE-2023-27043 | 2 Python, Redhat | 4 Python, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Data Foundation and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
The email module of Python through 3.11.3 incorrectly parses e-mail addresses that contain a special character. The wrong portion of an RFC2822 header is identified as the value of the addr-spec. In some applications, an attacker can bypass a protection mechanism in which application access is granted only after verifying receipt of e-mail to a specific domain (e.g., only @company.example.com addresses may be used for signup). This occurs in email/_parseaddr.py in recent versions of Python.
CVE-2023-26364 | 2 Adobe, Redhat | 4 Css-tools, Migration Toolkit Applications, Migration Toolkit Runtimes and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
@adobe/css-tools version 4.3.0 and earlier are affected by an Improper Input Validation vulnerability that could result in a minor denial of service while attempting to parse CSS. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction or privileges.
CVE-2023-26159 | 2 Follow-redirects, Redhat | 13 Follow Redirects, Acm, Container Native Virtualization and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.3 High |
Versions of the package follow-redirects before 1.15.4 are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation due to the improper handling of URLs by the url.parse() function. When new URL() throws an error, it can be manipulated to misinterpret the hostname. An attacker could exploit this weakness to redirect traffic to a malicious site, potentially leading to information disclosure, phishing attacks, or other security breaches.
CVE-2023-26115 | 2 Redhat, Word-wrap Project | 6 Logging, Network Observ Optr, Openshift and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
All versions of the package word-wrap are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) due to the usage of an insecure regular expression within the result variable.
CVE-2023-25000 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 3 Vault, Openshift, Openshift Data Foundation | 2024-11-21 | 5 Medium |
HashiCorp Vault's implementation of Shamir's secret sharing used precomputed table lookups, and was vulnerable to cache-timing attacks. An attacker with access to, and the ability to observe a large number of unseal operations on the host through a side channel may reduce the search space of a brute force effort to recover the Shamir shares. Fixed in Vault 1.13.1, 1.12.5, and 1.11.9.
CVE-2023-24999 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 2 Vault, Openshift Data Foundation | 2024-11-21 | 4.4 Medium |
HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise’s approle auth method allowed any authenticated user with access to an approle destroy endpoint to destroy the secret ID of any other role by providing the secret ID accessor. This vulnerability is fixed in Vault 1.13.0, 1.12.4, 1.11.8, 1.10.11 and above. |
