| A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49794 | 1 Redhat | 15 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 12 more | 2026-05-12 | 9.1 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors. | ||||
| CVE-2025-32989 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 10 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 7 more | 2026-05-12 | 5.3 Medium |
| A heap-buffer-overread vulnerability was found in GnuTLS in how it handles the Certificate Transparency (CT) Signed Certificate Timestamp (SCT) extension during X.509 certificate parsing. This flaw allows a malicious user to create a certificate containing a malformed SCT extension (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.11129.2.4.2) that contains sensitive data. This issue leads to the exposure of confidential information when GnuTLS verifies certificates from certain websites when the certificate (SCT) is not checked correctly. | ||||
| CVE-2025-32988 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 10 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 7 more | 2026-05-12 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GnuTLS. A double-free vulnerability exists in GnuTLS due to incorrect ownership handling in the export logic of Subject Alternative Name (SAN) entries containing an otherName. If the type-id OID is invalid or malformed, GnuTLS will call asn1_delete_structure() on an ASN.1 node it does not own, leading to a double-free condition when the parent function or caller later attempts to free the same structure. This vulnerability can be triggered using only public GnuTLS APIs and may result in denial of service or memory corruption, depending on allocator behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3832 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 6 Gnutls, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-05-11 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response during a TLS handshake. Due to a logic error in how gnutls processes multi-record OCSP responses, a client with OCSP verification enabled may incorrectly accept a revoked server certificate, potentially leading to a compromise of trust. | ||||
| CVE-2026-26158 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-05-05 | 7 High |
| A flaw was found in BusyBox. This vulnerability allows an attacker to modify files outside of the intended extraction directory by crafting a malicious tar archive containing unvalidated hardlink or symlink entries. If the tar archive is extracted with elevated privileges, this flaw can lead to privilege escalation, enabling an attacker to gain unauthorized access to critical system files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-26157 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-05-05 | 7 High |
| A flaw was found in BusyBox. Incomplete path sanitization in its archive extraction utilities allows an attacker to craft malicious archives that when extracted, and under specific conditions, may write to files outside the intended directory. This can lead to arbitrary file overwrite, potentially enabling code execution through the modification of sensitive system files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5435 | 3 Gnu, Redhat, The Gnu C Library | 3 Glibc, Hummingbird, Glibc | 2026-05-05 | 7.3 High |
| The deprecated functions ns_printrrf, ns_printrr and fp_nquery in the GNU C Library version 2.2 and newer fail to enforce the caller-supplied buffer length, and can result in an out-of-bounds write when printing TSIG records. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6238 | 3 Gnu, Redhat, The Gnu C Library | 3 Glibc, Hummingbird, Glibc | 2026-05-04 | 6.5 Medium |
| The deprecated functions ns_printrrf, ns_printrr and fp_nquery in the GNU C Library version 2.2 and newer fail to validate the RDATA content against the RDATA length in a DNS response when processing LOC, CERT, TKEY or TSIG records, which may allow an attacker to craft a DNS response, causing a target application to crash or read uninitialized memory. These functions are for application debugging only and hence not in the path of code executed by the DNS resolver. Further, they have been deprecated since version 2.34 and should not be used by any new applications. Applications should consider porting away from these interfaces since they may be removed in future versions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4426 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 6 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-05-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. An Undefined Behavior vulnerability exists in the zisofs decompression logic, caused by improper validation of a field (`pz_log2_bs`) read from ISO9660 Rock Ridge extensions. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying a specially crafted ISO file. This can lead to incorrect memory allocation and potential application crashes, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5745 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 6 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-05-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the ACL parsing logic, specifically within the archive_acl_from_text_nl() function. When processing a malformed ACL string (such as a bare "d" or "default" tag without subsequent fields), the function fails to perform adequate validation before advancing the pointer. An attacker can exploit this by providing a maliciously crafted archive, causing an application utilizing the libarchive API (such as bsdtar) to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-1584 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 5 Gnutls, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-05-03 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted ClientHello message with an invalid Pre-Shared Key (PSK) binder value during the TLS handshake. This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference, causing the server to crash and resulting in a remote Denial of Service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3184 | 3 Kernel, Linux, Redhat | 6 Util-linux, Util-linux, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-05-01 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in util-linux. Improper hostname canonicalization in the `login(1)` utility, when invoked with the `-h` option, can modify the supplied remote hostname before setting `PAM_RHOST`. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing a specially crafted hostname, potentially bypassing host-based Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) access control rules that rely on fully qualified domain names. This could lead to unauthorized access. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4105 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-04-30 | 6.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in systemd. The systemd-machined service contains an Improper Access Control vulnerability due to insufficient validation of the class parameter in the RegisterMachine D-Bus (Desktop Bus) method. A local unprivileged user can exploit this by attempting to register a machine with a specific class value, which may leave behind a usable, attacker-controlled machine object. This allows the attacker to invoke methods on the privileged object, leading to the execution of arbitrary commands with root privileges on the host system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14821 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 5 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-04-29 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libssh. This vulnerability allows local man-in-the-middle attacks, security downgrades of SSH (Secure Shell) connections, and manipulation of trusted host information, posing a significant risk to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SSH communications via an insecure default configuration on Windows systems where the library automatically loads configuration files from the C:\etc directory, which can be created and modified by unprivileged local users. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11731 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-04-27 | 3.1 Low |
| A flaw was found in the exsltFuncResultComp() function of libxslt, which handles EXSLT <func:result> elements during stylesheet parsing. Due to improper type handling, the function may treat an XML document node as a regular XML element node, resulting in a type confusion. This can cause unexpected memory reads and potential crashes. While difficult to exploit, the flaw could lead to application instability or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2025-10911 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-04-27 | 5.5 Medium |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxslt while parsing xsl nodes that may lead to the dereference of expired pointers and application crash. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7424 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-04-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the libxslt library. The same memory field, psvi, is used for both stylesheet and input data, which can lead to type confusion during XML transformations. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the application or corrupt memory. In some cases, it may lead to denial of service or unexpected behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0988 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-04-25 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in glib. Missing validation of offset and count parameters in the g_buffered_input_stream_peek() function can lead to an integer overflow during length calculation. When specially crafted values are provided, this overflow results in an incorrect size being passed to memcpy(), triggering a buffer overflow. This can cause application crashes, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-5704 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Tar, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-04-22 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in tar. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious archive, leading to hidden file injection with fully attacker-controlled content. This bypasses pre-extraction inspection mechanisms, potentially allowing an attacker to introduce malicious files onto a system without detection. | ||||
