| CVE-2025-11731 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-04-27 | 3.1 Low |
| A flaw was found in the exsltFuncResultComp() function of libxslt, which handles EXSLT <func:result> elements during stylesheet parsing. Due to improper type handling, the function may treat an XML document node as a regular XML element node, resulting in a type confusion. This can cause unexpected memory reads and potential crashes. While difficult to exploit, the flaw could lead to application instability or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7424 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-04-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the libxslt library. The same memory field, psvi, is used for both stylesheet and input data, which can lead to type confusion during XML transformations. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the application or corrupt memory. In some cases, it may lead to denial of service or unexpected behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5496 | 2 Labcenter, Labcenter Electronics | 2 Proteus, Proteus | 2026-04-27 | N/A |
| Labcenter Electronics Proteus PDSPRJ File Parsing Type Confusion Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Labcenter Electronics Proteus. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PDSPRJ files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-25717. | ||||

| CVE-2026-23346 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: io: Extract user memory type in ioremap_prot() The only caller of ioremap_prot() outside of the generic ioremap() implementation is generic_access_phys(), which passes a 'pgprot_t' value determined from the user mapping of the target 'pfn' being accessed by the kernel. On arm64, the 'pgprot_t' contains all of the non-address bits from the pte, including the permission controls, and so we end up returning a new user mapping from ioremap_prot() which faults when accessed from the kernel on systems with PAN: | Unable to handle kernel read from unreadable memory at virtual address ffff80008ea89000 | ... | Call trace: | __memcpy_fromio+0x80/0xf8 | generic_access_phys+0x20c/0x2b8 | __access_remote_vm+0x46c/0x5b8 | access_remote_vm+0x18/0x30 | environ_read+0x238/0x3e8 | vfs_read+0xe4/0x2b0 | ksys_read+0xcc/0x178 | __arm64_sys_read+0x4c/0x68 Extract only the memory type from the user 'pgprot_t' in ioremap_prot() and assert that we're being passed a user mapping, to protect us against any changes in future that may require additional handling. To avoid falsely flagging users of ioremap(), provide our own ioremap() macro which simply wraps __ioremap_prot(). | ||||

| Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11 and Microsoft Edge have a type confusion issue in the Layout::MultiColumnBoxBuilder::HandleColumnBreakOnColumnSpanningElement function in mshtml.dll, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors involving a crafted Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) token sequence and crafted JavaScript code that operates on a TH element. | ||||
| CVE-2012-0507 | 5 Debian, Oracle, Redhat and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Jre, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2026-04-22 | 9.8 Critical |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) component in Oracle Java SE 7 Update 2 and earlier, 6 Update 30 and earlier, and 5.0 Update 33 and earlier allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Concurrency. NOTE: the previous information was obtained from the February 2012 Oracle CPU. Oracle has not commented on claims from a downstream vendor and third party researchers that this issue occurs because the AtomicReferenceArray class implementation does not ensure that the array is of the Object[] type, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (JVM crash) or bypass Java sandbox restrictions. NOTE: this issue was originally mapped to CVE-2011-3571, but that identifier was already assigned to a different issue. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11292 | 6 Adobe, Apple, Google and 3 more | 12 Flash Player, Flash Player Desktop Runtime, Mac Os X and 9 more | 2026-04-22 | 8.8 High |
| Adobe Flash Player version 27.0.0.159 and earlier has a flawed bytecode verification procedure, which allows for an untrusted value to be used in the calculation of an array index. This can lead to type confusion, and successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39956 | 1 Jqlang | 1 Jq | 2026-04-22 | 6.1 Medium |
| jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits after 69785bf77f86e2ea1b4a20ca86775916889e91c9, the _strindices builtin in jq's src/builtin.c passes its arguments directly to jv_string_indexes() without verifying they are strings, and jv_string_indexes() in src/jv.c relies solely on assert() checks that are stripped in release builds compiled with -DNDEBUG. This allows an attacker to crash jq trivially with input like _strindices(0), and by crafting a numeric value whose IEEE-754 bit pattern maps to a chosen pointer, achieve a controlled pointer dereference and limited memory read/probe primitive. Any deployment that evaluates untrusted jq filters against a release build is vulnerable. This issue has been patched in commit fdf8ef0f0810e3d365cdd5160de43db46f57ed03. | ||||
| CVE-2011-0611 | 9 Adobe, Apple, Google and 6 more | 16 Acrobat, Acrobat Reader, Adobe Air and 13 more | 2026-04-21 | 8.8 High |
| Adobe Flash Player before 10.2.154.27 on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris and 10.2.156.12 and earlier on Android; Adobe AIR before 2.6.19140; and Authplay.dll (aka AuthPlayLib.bundle) in Adobe Reader 9.x before 9.4.4 and 10.x through 10.0.1 on Windows, Adobe Reader 9.x before 9.4.4 and 10.x before 10.0.3 on Mac OS X, and Adobe Acrobat 9.x before 9.4.4 and 10.x before 10.0.3 on Windows and Mac OS X allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via crafted Flash content; as demonstrated by a Microsoft Office document with an embedded .swf file that has a size inconsistency in a "group of included constants," object type confusion, ActionScript that adds custom functions to prototypes, and Date objects; and as exploited in the wild in April 2011. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8291 | 3 Artifex, Debian, Redhat | 9 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2026-04-21 | 7.8 High |
| Artifex Ghostscript through 2017-04-26 allows -dSAFER bypass and remote command execution via .rsdparams type confusion with a "/OutputFile (%pipe%" substring in a crafted .eps document that is an input to the gs program, as exploited in the wild in April 2017. | ||||
| CVE-2017-5070 | 5 Apple, Google, Linux and 2 more | 9 Macos, Android, Chrome and 6 more | 2026-04-21 | 8.8 High |
| Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 59.0.3071.86 for Linux, Windows, and Mac, and 59.0.3071.92 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14799 | 2 Neeraj Slit, Wordpress | 2 Brevo – Email, Sms, Web Push, Chat, And More., Wordpress | 2026-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| The Brevo - Email, SMS, Web Push, Chat, and more. plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to type juggling in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.0. This is due to the use of loose comparison (==) instead of strict comparison (===) when validating the installation ID in the `/wp-json/mailin/v1/mailin_disconnect` REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to disconnect the Brevo integration, delete the API key, remove all subscription forms, and reset plugin settings by sending a boolean `true` value for the `id` parameter, which bypasses the authorization check through PHP type juggling. | ||||
| CVE-2025-1933 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-04-21 | 7.6 High |
| On 64-bit CPUs, when the JIT compiles WASM i32 return values they can pick up bits from left over memory. This can potentially cause them to be treated as a different type. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 136, Firefox ESR 115.21, Firefox ESR 128.8, Thunderbird 136, and Thunderbird 128.8. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14325 | 1 Mozilla | 3 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird | 2026-04-21 | 7.3 High |
