CVE-2020-7221 | 1 Mariadb | 1 Mariadb | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
mysql_install_db in MariaDB 10.4.7 through 10.4.11 allows privilege escalation from the mysql user account to root because chown and chmod are performed unsafely, as demonstrated by a symlink attack on a chmod 04755 of auth_pam_tool_dir/auth_pam_tool. NOTE: this does not affect the Oracle MySQL product, which implements mysql_install_db differently.
CVE-2020-29396 | 2 Odoo, Python | 2 Odoo, Python | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A sandboxing issue in Odoo Community 11.0 through 13.0 and Odoo Enterprise 11.0 through 13.0, when running with Python 3.6 or later, allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code, leading to privilege escalation.
CVE-2019-14865 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the grub2-set-bootflag utility of grub2. A local attacker could run this utility under resource pressure (for example by setting RLIMIT), causing grub2 configuration files to be truncated and leaving the system unbootable on subsequent reboots.
CVE-2019-14287 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 21 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 18 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
In Sudo before 1.8.28, an attacker with access to a Runas ALL sudoer account can bypass certain policy blacklists and session PAM modules, and can cause incorrect logging, by invoking sudo with a crafted user ID. For example, this allows bypass of !root configuration, and USER= logging, for a "sudo -u \#$((0xffffffff))" command.
CVE-2019-10170 | 1 Redhat | 2 Jboss Single Sign On, Keycloak | 2024-11-21 | 6.6 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Keycloak admin console, where the realm management interface permits a script to be set via the policy. This flaw allows an attacker with authenticated user and realm management permissions to configure a malicious script to trigger and execute arbitrary code with the permissions of the application user.
CVE-2019-10169 | 1 Redhat | 2 Jboss Single Sign On, Keycloak | 2024-11-21 | 6.6 Medium |
A flaw was found in Keycloak’s user-managed access interface, where it would permit a script to be set in the UMA policy. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker with UMA permissions to configure a malicious script to trigger and execute arbitrary code with the permissions of the user running application.
CVE-2018-1260 | 2 Pivotal Software, Redhat | 3 Spring Security Oauth, Jboss Fuse, Openshift Application Runtimes | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Spring Security OAuth, versions 2.3 prior to 2.3.3, 2.2 prior to 2.2.2, 2.1 prior to 2.1.2, 2.0 prior to 2.0.15 and older unsupported versions contains a remote code execution vulnerability. A malicious user or attacker can craft an authorization request to the authorization endpoint that can lead to remote code execution when the resource owner is forwarded to the approval endpoint.
CVE-2017-2616 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Util-linux Project | 8 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
A race condition was found in util-linux before 2.32.1 in the way su handled the management of child processes. A local authenticated attacker could use this flaw to kill other processes with root privileges under specific conditions.
CVE-2017-13221 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Upstream kernel wifi driver. Product: Android. Versions: Android kernel. Android ID: A-64709938.
CVE-2015-7551 | 3 Apple, Redhat, Ruby-lang | 3 Mac Os X, Rhel Software Collections, Ruby | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
The Fiddle::Handle implementation in ext/fiddle/handle.c in Ruby before 2.0.0-p648, 2.1 before 2.1.8, and 2.2 before 2.2.4, as distributed in Apple OS X before 10.11.4 and other products, mishandles tainting, which allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted string, related to the DL module and the libffi library. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of a CVE-2009-5147 regression.
CVE-2009-5147 | 2 Redhat, Ruby-lang | 2 Rhel Software Collections, Ruby | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
DL::dlopen in Ruby 1.8, 1.9.0, 1.9.2, 1.9.3, 2.0.0 before patchlevel 648, and 2.1 before 2.1.8 opens libraries with tainted names.
CVE-2024-7571 | 1 Ivanti | 1 Secure Access Client | 2024-11-19 | 7.8 High |
Incorrect permissions in Ivanti Secure Access Client before 22.7R4 allows a local authenticated attacker to escalate their privileges.
CVE-2024-9842 | 2024-11-13 | 7.3 High
Incorrect permissions in Ivanti Secure Access Client before version 22.7R4 allows a local authenticated attacker to create arbitrary folders.
CVE-2024-8539 | 1 Ivanti | 1 Secure Access Client | 2024-11-13 | 7.1 High |
Improper authorization in Ivanti Secure Access Client before version 22.7R3 allows a local authenticated attacker to modify sensitive configuration files.
CVE-2024-42365 | 1 Asterisk | 2 Asterisk, Certified Asterisk | 2024-09-16 | 7.4 High |
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange (PBX) and telephony toolkit. Prior to asterisk versions 18.24.2, 20.9.2, and 21.4.2 and certified-asterisk versions 18.9-cert11 and 20.7-cert2, an AMI user with `write=originate` may change all configuration files in the `/etc/asterisk/` directory. This occurs because they are able to curl remote files and write them to disk, but are also able to append to existing files using the `FILE` function inside the `SET` application. This issue may result in privilege escalation, remote code execution and/or blind server-side request forgery with arbitrary protocol. Asterisk versions 18.24.2, 20.9.2, and 21.4.2 and certified-asterisk versions 18.9-cert11 and 20.7-cert2 contain a fix for this issue.
CVE-2024-5622 | 2 B And R Industrial Automotion, Br-automation | 2 B And R Aprol, Industrial Automation Aprol | 2024-09-13 | 7.8 High |

CVE-2024-5623 | 1 Br-automation | 1 Industrial Automation Aprol | 2024-09-13 | 7.8 High |
An untrusted search path vulnerability in B&R APROL <= R 4.4-00P3 may be used by an authenticated local attacker to get other users to execute arbitrary code under their privileges.
CVE-2024-20411 | 1 Cisco | 1 Nx-os | 2024-08-30 | 6.7 Medium |
A vulnerability in Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with privileges to access the Bash shell to execute arbitrary code as root on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient security restrictions when executing commands from the Bash shell. An attacker with privileges to access the Bash shell could exploit this vulnerability by executing a specific crafted command on the underlying operating system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of root. |
