CVE-2023-35788 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 17 more 2025-05-05 7.8 High
An issue was discovered in fl_set_geneve_opt in net/sched/cls_flower.c in the Linux kernel before 6.3.7. It allows an out-of-bounds write in the flower classifier code via TCA_FLOWER_KEY_ENC_OPTS_GENEVE packets. This may result in denial of service or privilege escalation.
CVE-2023-32233 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Hci Baseboard Management Controller, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-05-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel through 6.3.1, a use-after-free in Netfilter nf_tables when processing batch requests can be abused to perform arbitrary read and write operations on kernel memory. Unprivileged local users can obtain root privileges. This occurs because anonymous sets are mishandled.
CVE-2023-45871 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-05-05 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in drivers/net/ethernet/intel/igb/igb_main.c in the IGB driver in the Linux kernel before 6.5.3. A buffer size may not be adequate for frames larger than the MTU.
CVE-2024-26602 2 Linux, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more 2025-05-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/membarrier: reduce the ability to hammer on sys_membarrier On some systems, sys_membarrier can be very expensive, causing overall slowdowns for everything. So put a lock on the path in order to serialize the accesses to prevent the ability for this to be called at too high of a frequency and saturate the machine.
CVE-2022-42896 2 Linux, Redhat 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 5 more 2025-04-21 8 High
There are use-after-free vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_connect and l2cap_le_connect_req functions which may allow code execution and leaking kernel memory (respectively) remotely via Bluetooth. A remote attacker could execute code leaking kernel memory via Bluetooth if within proximity of the victim. CVE-2016-10147 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Extras Rt 2025-04-20 N/A
crypto/mcryptd.c in the Linux kernel before 4.8.15 allows local users to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash) by using an AF_ALG socket with an incompatible algorithm, as demonstrated by mcryptd(md5).
CVE-2016-10200 3 Google, Linux, Redhat 6 Android, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 3 more 2025-04-20 7.0 High
Race condition in the L2TPv3 IP Encapsulation feature in the Linux kernel before 4.8.14 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (use-after-free) by making multiple bind system calls without properly ascertaining whether a socket has the SOCK_ZAPPED status, related to net/l2tp/l2tp_ip.c and net/l2tp/l2tp_ip6.c.
CVE-2017-1000410 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes).
CVE-2017-1000251 4 Debian, Linux, Nvidia and 1 more 17 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Jetson Tk1 and 14 more 2025-04-20 8.0 High
The native Bluetooth stack in the Linux Kernel (BlueZ), starting at the Linux kernel version 2.6.32 and up to and including 4.13.1, are vulnerable to a stack overflow vulnerability in the processing of L2CAP configuration responses resulting in Remote code execution in kernel space.
CVE-2017-2671 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The ping_unhash function in net/ipv4/ping.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.8 is too late in obtaining a certain lock and consequently cannot ensure that disconnect function calls are safe, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) by leveraging access to the protocol value of IPPROTO_ICMP in a socket system call.
CVE-2016-10208 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The ext4_fill_super function in fs/ext4/super.c in the Linux kernel through 4.9.8 does not properly validate meta block groups, which allows physically proximate attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and system crash) via a crafted ext4 image.
