CVE-2023-6481 | 2 Qos, Redhat | 6 Logback, Amq Broker, Camel Spring Boot and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.1 High |
A serialization vulnerability in logback receiver component part of logback version 1.4.13, 1.3.13 and 1.2.12 allows an attacker to mount a Denial-Of-Service attack by sending poisoned data.
CVE-2023-46604 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 10 Activemq, Activemq Legacy Openwire Module, Debian Linux and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 10 Critical |
The Java OpenWire protocol marshaller is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability may allow a remote attacker with network access to either a Java-based OpenWire broker or client to run arbitrary shell commands by manipulating serialized class types in the OpenWire protocol to cause either the client or the broker (respectively) to instantiate any class on the classpath. Users are recommended to upgrade both brokers and clients to version 5.15.16, 5.16.7, 5.17.6, or 5.18.3 which fixes this issue.
CVE-2023-44981 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 4 Zookeeper, Debian Linux, Amq Broker and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.1 Critical |
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability in Apache ZooKeeper. If SASL Quorum Peer authentication is enabled in ZooKeeper (quorum.auth.enableSasl=true), the authorization is done by verifying that the instance part in SASL authentication ID is listed in zoo.cfg server list. The instance part in SASL auth ID is optional and if it's missing, like '[email protected]', the authorization check will be skipped. As a result an arbitrary endpoint could join the cluster and begin propagating counterfeit changes to the leader, essentially giving it complete read-write access to the data tree. Quorum Peer authentication is not enabled by default. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.1, 3.8.3, 3.7.2, which fixes the issue. Alternately ensure the ensemble election/quorum communication is protected by a firewall as this will mitigate the issue. See the documentation for more details on correct cluster administration.
CVE-2023-41080 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 7 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Amq Broker and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in FORM authentication feature Apache Tomcat. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M10, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.0.12, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.79 and from 8.5.0 through 8.5.92. The vulnerability is limited to the ROOT (default) web application.
CVE-2023-40167 | 3 Debian, Eclipse, Redhat | 11 Debian Linux, Jetty, Amq Broker and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Jetty is a Java based web server and servlet engine. Prior to versions 9.4.52, 10.0.16, 11.0.16, and 12.0.1, Jetty accepts the `+` character proceeding the content-length value in a HTTP/1 header field. This is more permissive than allowed by the RFC and other servers routinely reject such requests with 400 responses. There is no known exploit scenario, but it is conceivable that request smuggling could result if jetty is used in combination with a server that does not close the connection after sending such a 400 response. Versions 9.4.52, 10.0.16, 11.0.16, and 12.0.1 contain a patch for this issue. There is no workaround as there is no known exploit scenario.
CVE-2023-35116 | 2 Fasterxml, Redhat | 7 Jackson-databind, Amq Broker, Apache-camel-spring-boot and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.7 Medium |
jackson-databind through 2.15.2 allows attackers to cause a denial of service or other unspecified impact via a crafted object that uses cyclic dependencies. NOTE: the vendor's perspective is that this is not a valid vulnerability report, because the steps of constructing a cyclic data structure and trying to serialize it cannot be achieved by an external attacker.
CVE-2023-34462 | 2 Netty, Redhat | 11 Netty, Amq Broker, Amq Clients and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. The `SniHandler` can allocate up to 16MB of heap for each channel during the TLS handshake. When the handler or the channel does not have an idle timeout, it can be used to make a TCP server using the `SniHandler` to allocate 16MB of heap. The `SniHandler` class is a handler that waits for the TLS handshake to configure a `SslHandler` according to the indicated server name by the `ClientHello` record. For this matter it allocates a `ByteBuf` using the value defined in the `ClientHello` record. Normally the value of the packet should be smaller than the handshake packet but there are not checks done here and the way the code is written, it is possible to craft a packet that makes the `SslClientHelloHandler`. This vulnerability has been fixed in version 4.1.94.Final.
CVE-2023-33008 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Johnzon, Amq Broker, Camel Spring Boot and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Software Foundation Apache Johnzon. A malicious attacker can craft up some JSON input that uses large numbers (numbers such as 1e20000000) that Apache Johnzon will deserialize into BigDecimal and maybe use numbers too large which may result in a slow conversion (Denial of service risk). Apache Johnzon 1.2.21 mitigates this by setting a scale limit of 1000 (by default) to the BigDecimal. This issue affects Apache Johnzon: through 1.2.20.
CVE-2023-2976 | 2 Google, Redhat | 10 Guava, Amq Broker, Amq Streams and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
Use of Java's default temporary directory for file creation in `FileBackedOutputStream` in Google Guava versions 1.0 to 31.1 on Unix systems and Android Ice Cream Sandwich allows other users and apps on the machine with access to the default Java temporary directory to be able to access the files created by the class. Even though the security vulnerability is fixed in version 32.0.0, we recommend using version 32.0.1 as version 32.0.0 breaks some functionality under Windows.
CVE-2023-20861 | 2 Redhat, Vmware | 8 Amq Broker, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
In Spring Framework versions 6.0.0 - 6.0.6, 5.3.0 - 5.3.25, 5.2.0.RELEASE - 5.2.22.RELEASE, and older unsupported versions, it is possible for a user to provide a specially crafted SpEL expression that may cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.
CVE-2023-20860 | 2 Redhat, Vmware | 9 Amq Broker, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Spring Framework running version 6.0.0 - 6.0.6 or 5.3.0 - 5.3.25 using "**" as a pattern in Spring Security configuration with the mvcRequestMatcher creates a mismatch in pattern matching between Spring Security and Spring MVC, and the potential for a security bypass.
CVE-2023-1664 | 1 Redhat | 8 Amq Broker, Build Of Quarkus, Jboss A-mq and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in Keycloak. This flaw depends on a non-default configuration "Revalidate Client Certificate" to be enabled and the reverse proxy is not validating the certificate before Keycloak. Using this method an attacker may choose the certificate which will be validated by the server. If this happens and the KC_SPI_TRUSTSTORE_FILE_FILE variable is missing/misconfigured, any trustfile may be accepted with the logging information of "Cannot validate client certificate trust: Truststore not available". This may not impact availability as the attacker would have no access to the server, but consumer applications Integrity or Confidentiality may be impacted considering a possible access to them. Considering the environment is correctly set to use "Revalidate Client Certificate" this flaw is avoidable.
CVE-2023-0482 | 1 Redhat | 8 Amq Broker, Amq Streams, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
In RESTEasy the insecure File.createTempFile() is used in the DataSourceProvider, FileProvider and Mime4JWorkaround classes which creates temp files with insecure permissions that could be read by a local user.
CVE-2022-4245 | 2 Codehaus-plexus, Redhat | 23 Plexus-utils, A Mq Clients, Amq Broker and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in codehaus-plexus. The org.codehaus.plexus.util.xml.XmlWriterUtil#writeComment fails to sanitize comments for a --> sequence. This issue means that text contained in the command string could be interpreted as XML and allow for XML injection.
CVE-2022-4244 | 2 Codehaus-plexus, Redhat | 23 Plexus-utils, A Mq Clients, Amq Broker and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in codeplex-codehaus. A directory traversal attack (also known as path traversal) aims to access files and directories stored outside the intended folder. By manipulating files with "dot-dot-slash (../)" sequences and their variations or by using absolute file paths, it may be possible to access arbitrary files and directories stored on the file system, including application source code, configuration, and other critical system files.
CVE-2022-42889 | 4 Apache, Juniper, Netapp and 1 more | 20 Commons Text, Jsa1500, Jsa3500 and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
Apache Commons Text performs variable interpolation, allowing properties to be dynamically evaluated and expanded. The standard format for interpolation is "${prefix:name}", where "prefix" is used to locate an instance of org.apache.commons.text.lookup.StringLookup that performs the interpolation. Starting with version 1.5 and continuing through 1.9, the set of default Lookup instances included interpolators that could result in arbitrary code execution or contact with remote servers. These lookups are: - "script" - execute expressions using the JVM script execution engine (javax.script) - "dns" - resolve dns records - "url" - load values from urls, including from remote servers Applications using the interpolation defaults in the affected versions may be vulnerable to remote code execution or unintentional contact with remote servers if untrusted configuration values are used. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Commons Text 1.10.0, which disables the problematic interpolators by default.
CVE-2022-42004 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 19 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 16 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.13.4, resource exhaustion can occur because of a lack of a check in BeanDeserializer._deserializeFromArray to prevent use of deeply nested arrays. An application is vulnerable only with certain customized choices for deserialization.
CVE-2022-42003 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 20 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In FasterXML jackson-databind before versions 2.13.4.1 and 2.12.17.1, resource exhaustion can occur because of a lack of a check in primitive value deserializers to avoid deep wrapper array nesting, when the UNWRAP_SINGLE_VALUE_ARRAYS feature is enabled.
CVE-2022-41678 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Activemq, Amq Broker, Jboss Fuse and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
Once an user is authenticated on Jolokia, he can potentially trigger arbitrary code execution. In details, in ActiveMQ configurations, jetty allows org.jolokia.http.AgentServlet to handler request to /api/jolokia org.jolokia.http.HttpRequestHandler#handlePostRequest is able to create JmxRequest through JSONObject. And calls to org.jolokia.http.HttpRequestHandler#executeRequest. Into deeper calling stacks, org.jolokia.handler.ExecHandler#doHandleRequest can be invoked through refection. This could lead to RCE through via various mbeans. One example is unrestricted deserialization in jdk.management.jfr.FlightRecorderMXBeanImpl which exists on Java version above 11. 1 Call newRecording. 2 Call setConfiguration. And a webshell data hides in it. 3 Call startRecording. 4 Call copyTo method. The webshell will be written to a .jsp file. The mitigation is to restrict (by default) the actions authorized on Jolokia, or disable Jolokia. A more restrictive Jolokia configuration has been defined in default ActiveMQ distribution. We encourage users to upgrade to ActiveMQ distributions version including updated Jolokia configuration: 5.16.6, 5.17.4, 5.18.0, 6.0.0.
CVE-2022-3782 | 1 Redhat | 8 Amq Broker, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform, Keycloak and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.1 Critical |
keycloak: path traversal via double URL encoding. A flaw was found in Keycloak, where it does not properly validate URLs included in a redirect. An attacker can use this flaw to construct a malicious request to bypass validation and access other URLs and potentially sensitive information within the domain or possibly conduct further attacks. This flaw affects any client that utilizes a wildcard in the Valid Redirect URIs field. |
