CVE-2018-10237 | 3 Google, Oracle, Redhat | 21 Guava, Banking Payments, Communications Ip Service Activator and 18 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
Unbounded memory allocation in Google Guava 11.0 through 24.x before 24.1.1 allows remote attackers to conduct denial of service attacks against servers that depend on this library and deserialize attacker-provided data, because the AtomicDoubleArray class (when serialized with Java serialization) and the CompoundOrdering class (when serialized with GWT serialization) perform eager allocation without appropriate checks on what a client has sent and whether the data size is reasonable.
CVE-2018-1000632 | 5 Debian, Dom4j Project, Netapp and 2 more | 17 Debian Linux, Dom4j, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
dom4j version prior to version 2.1.1 contains a CWE-91: XML Injection vulnerability in Class: Element. Methods: addElement, addAttribute that can result in an attacker tampering with XML documents through XML injection. This attack appear to be exploitable via an attacker specifying attributes or elements in the XML document. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in 2.1.1 or later.
CVE-2018-1000180 | 5 Bouncycastle, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 24 Fips Java Api, Legion-of-the-bouncy-castle-java-crytography-api, Debian Linux and 21 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Bouncy Castle BC 1.54 - 1.59, BC-FJA 1.0.0, BC-FJA 1.0.1 and earlier have a flaw in the Low-level interface to RSA key pair generator, specifically RSA Key Pairs generated in low-level API with added certainty may have less M-R tests than expected. This appears to be fixed in versions BC 1.60 beta 4 and later, BC-FJA 1.0.2 and later.
CVE-2017-9798 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 8 Http Server, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Apache httpd allows remote attackers to read secret data from process memory if the Limit directive can be set in a user's .htaccess file, or if httpd.conf has certain misconfigurations, aka Optionsbleed. This affects the Apache HTTP Server through 2.2.34 and 2.4.x through 2.4.27. The attacker sends an unauthenticated OPTIONS HTTP request when attempting to read secret data. This is a use-after-free issue and thus secret data is not always sent, and the specific data depends on many factors including configuration. Exploitation with .htaccess can be blocked with a patch to the ap_limit_section function in server/core.c.
CVE-2017-9788 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 18 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
In Apache httpd before 2.2.34 and 2.4.x before 2.4.27, the value placeholder in [Proxy-]Authorization headers of type 'Digest' was not initialized or reset before or between successive key=value assignments by mod_auth_digest. Providing an initial key with no '=' assignment could reflect the stale value of uninitialized pool memory used by the prior request, leading to leakage of potentially confidential information, and a segfault in other cases resulting in denial of service.
CVE-2017-7561 | 1 Redhat | 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Red Hat JBoss EAP version 3.0.7 through before 4.0.0.Beta1 is vulnerable to a server-side cache poisoning or CORS requests in the JAX-RS component resulting in a moderate impact.
CVE-2017-7559 | 1 Redhat | 4 Jboss Amq, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Fuse and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
In Undertow 2.x before 2.0.0.Alpha2, 1.4.x before 1.4.17.Final, and 1.3.x before 1.3.31.Final, it was found that the fix for CVE-2017-2666 was incomplete and invalid characters are still allowed in the query string and path parameters. This could be exploited, in conjunction with a proxy that also permitted the invalid characters but with a different interpretation, to inject data into the HTTP response. By manipulating the HTTP response the attacker could poison a web-cache, perform an XSS attack, or obtain sensitive information from requests other than their own.
CVE-2017-7536 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Hibernate Validator, Jboss Amq and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.0 High |
In Hibernate Validator 5.2.x before 5.2.5 final, 5.3.x, and 5.4.x, it was found that when the security manager's reflective permissions, which allows it to access the private members of the class, are granted to Hibernate Validator, a potential privilege escalation can occur. By allowing the calling code to access those private members without the permission an attacker may be able to validate an invalid instance and access the private member value via ConstraintViolation#getInvalidValue().
CVE-2017-7525 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 30 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Balance and 27 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
A deserialization flaw was discovered in the jackson-databind, versions before 2.6.7.1, 2.7.9.1 and 2.8.9, which could allow an unauthenticated user to perform code execution by sending the maliciously crafted input to the readValue method of the ObjectMapper.
CVE-2017-7504 | 1 Redhat | 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
HTTPServerILServlet.java in JMS over HTTP Invocation Layer of the JbossMQ implementation, which is enabled by default in Red Hat Jboss Application Server <= Jboss 4.X does not restrict the classes for which it performs deserialization, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted serialized data.
CVE-2017-7503 | 1 Redhat | 2 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Cd | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was found that the Red Hat JBoss EAP 7.0.5 implementation of javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory is vulnerable to XXE. An attacker could use this flaw to launch DoS or SSRF attacks, or read files from the server where EAP is deployed.
CVE-2017-7465 | 1 Redhat | 2 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Cd | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was found that the JAXP implementation used in JBoss EAP 7.0 for XSLT processing is vulnerable to code injection. An attacker could use this flaw to cause remote code execution if they are able to provide XSLT content for parsing. Doing a transform in JAXP requires the use of a 'javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory'. If the FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING feature is set to 'true', it mitigates this vulnerability.
CVE-2017-7464 | 1 Redhat | 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was found that the JAXP implementation used in JBoss EAP 7.0 for SAX and DOM parsing is vulnerable to certain XXE flaws. An attacker could use this flaw to cause DoS, SSRF, or information disclosure if they are able to provide XML content for parsing.
CVE-2017-6056 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was discovered that a programming error in the processing of HTTPS requests in the Apache Tomcat servlet and JSP engine may result in denial of service via an infinite loop. The denial of service is easily achievable as a consequence of backporting a CVE-2016-6816 fix but not backporting the fix for Tomcat bug 57544. Distributions affected by this backporting issue include Debian (before 7.0.56-3+deb8u8 and 8.0.14-1+deb8u7 in jessie) and Ubuntu.
CVE-2017-5664 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method.
CVE-2017-5645 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 86 Log4j, Oncommand Api Services, Oncommand Insight and 83 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
In Apache Log4j 2.x before 2.8.2, when using the TCP socket server or UDP socket server to receive serialized log events from another application, a specially crafted binary payload can be sent that, when deserialized, can execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2017-3163 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 2 Solr, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
When using the Index Replication feature, Apache Solr nodes can pull index files from a master/leader node using an HTTP API which accepts a file name. However, Solr before 5.5.4 and 6.x before 6.4.1 did not validate the file name, hence it was possible to craft a special request involving path traversal, leaving any file readable to the Solr server process exposed. Solr servers protected and restricted by firewall rules and/or authentication would not be at risk since only trusted clients and users would gain direct HTTP access.
CVE-2017-2670 | 2 Debian, Redhat | 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Data Grid and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was found in Undertow before 1.3.28 that with non-clean TCP close, the Websocket server gets into infinite loop on every IO thread, effectively causing DoS.
CVE-2017-2666 | 2 Debian, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was discovered in Undertow that the code that parsed the HTTP request line permitted invalid characters. This could be exploited, in conjunction with a proxy that also permitted the invalid characters but with a different interpretation, to inject data into the HTTP response. By manipulating the HTTP response the attacker could poison a web-cache, perform an XSS attack, or obtain sensitive information from requests other than their own.
CVE-2017-2595 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
It was found that the log file viewer in Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application 6 and 7 allows arbitrary file read to authenticated user via path traversal. |
