| CVE-2024-26142 | 3 Rails, Ruby-lang, Rubyonrails | 3 Rails, Ruby, Rails | 2025-02-14 | 7.5 High |
| Rails is a web-application framework. Starting in version 7.1.0, there is a possible ReDoS vulnerability in the Accept header parsing routines of Action Dispatch. This vulnerability is patched in 7.1.3.1. Ruby 3.2 has mitigations for this problem, so Rails applications using Ruby 3.2 or newer are unaffected. | ||||
| CVE-2024-26141 | 4 Debian, Rack, Rack Project and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Rack, Rack and 6 more | 2025-02-14 | 5.8 Medium |
| Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. Carefully crafted Range headers can cause a server to respond with an unexpectedly large response. Responding with such large responses could lead to a denial of service issue. Vulnerable applications will use the `Rack::File` middleware or the `Rack::Utils.byte_ranges` methods (this includes Rails applications). The vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.9.1 and 2.2.8.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-23952 | 1 Apache | 1 Superset | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| This is a duplicate for CVE-2023-46104. With correct CVE version ranges for affected Apache Superset. Uncontrolled resource consumption can be triggered by authenticated attacker that uploads a malicious ZIP to import database, dashboards or datasets. This vulnerability exists in Apache Superset versions up to and including 2.1.2 and versions 3.0.0, 3.0.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-22201 | 4 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Jetty is a Java based web server and servlet engine. An HTTP/2 SSL connection that is established and TCP congested will be leaked when it times out. An attacker can cause many connections to end up in this state, and the server may run out of file descriptors, eventually causing the server to stop accepting new connections from valid clients. The vulnerability is patched in 9.4.54, 10.0.20, 11.0.20, and 12.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2023-46104 | 1 Apache | 1 Superset | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |

| CVE-2024-5011 | 1 Progress | 1 Whatsup Gold | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| In WhatsUp Gold versions released before 2023.1.3, an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability exists. A specially crafted unauthenticated HTTP request to the TestController Chart functionality can lead to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2024-24750 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Undici | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| Undici is an HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js. In affected versions calling `fetch(url)` and not consuming the incoming body ((or consuming it very slowing) will lead to a memory leak. This issue has been addressed in version 6.6.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should make sure to always consume the incoming body. | ||||
| CVE-2024-24575 | 1 Libgit2 | 1 Libgit2 | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Using well-crafted inputs to `git_revparse_single` can cause the function to enter an infinite loop, potentially causing a Denial of Service attack in the calling application. The revparse function in `src/libgit2/revparse.c` uses a loop to parse the user-provided spec string. There is an edge-case during parsing that allows a bad actor to force the loop conditions to access arbitrary memory. Potentially, this could also leak memory if the extracted rev spec is reflected back to the attacker. As such, libgit2 versions before 1.4.0 are not affected. Users should upgrade to version 1.6.5 or 1.7.2. | ||||
| CVE-2024-23835 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Suricata | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.3, excessive memory use during pgsql parsing could lead to OOM-related crashes. This vulnerability is patched in 7.0.3. As workaround, users can disable the pgsql app layer parser. | ||||
| CVE-2024-23450 | 1 Elastic | 1 Elasticsearch | 2025-02-13 | 4.9 Medium |
| A flaw was discovered in Elasticsearch, where processing a document in a deeply nested pipeline on an ingest node could cause the Elasticsearch node to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2023-6516 | 3 Isc, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Bind, Active Iq Unified Manager, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| To keep its cache database efficient, `named` running as a recursive resolver occasionally attempts to clean up the database. It uses several methods, including some that are asynchronous: a small chunk of memory pointing to the cache element that can be cleaned up is first allocated and then queued for later processing. It was discovered that if the resolver is continuously processing query patterns triggering this type of cache-database maintenance, `named` may not be able to handle the cleanup events in a timely manner. This in turn enables the list of queued cleanup events to grow infinitely large over time, allowing the configured `max-cache-size` limit to be significantly exceeded. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.0 through 9.16.45 and 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.45-S1. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5724 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Drivers are not always robust to extremely large draw calls and in some cases this scenario could have led to a crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 119, Firefox ESR < 115.4, and Thunderbird < 115.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2023-43622 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 2 Http Server, Enterprise Linux | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| An attacker, opening a HTTP/2 connection with an initial window size of 0, was able to block handling of that connection indefinitely in Apache HTTP Server. This could be used to exhaust worker resources in the server, similar to the well known "slow loris" attack pattern. This has been fixed in version 2.4.58, so that such connection are terminated properly after the configured connection timeout. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.55 through 2.4.57. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.58, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-42503 | 1 Apache | 1 Commons Compress | 2025-02-13 | 5.5 Medium |
| Improper Input Validation, Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Commons Compress in TAR parsing. This issue affects Apache Commons Compress: from 1.22 before 1.24.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.24.0, which fixes the issue. A third party can create a malformed TAR file by manipulating file modification times headers, which when parsed with Apache Commons Compress, will cause a denial of service issue via CPU consumption. In version 1.22 of Apache Commons Compress, support was added for file modification times with higher precision (issue # COMPRESS-612 [1]). The format for the PAX extended headers carrying this data consists of two numbers separated by a period [2], indicating seconds and subsecond precision (for example “1647221103.5998539”). The impacted fields are “atime”, “ctime”, “mtime” and “LIBARCHIVE.creationtime”. No input validation is performed prior to the parsing of header values. Parsing of these numbers uses the BigDecimal [3] class from the JDK which has a publicly known algorithmic complexity issue when doing operations on large numbers, causing denial of service (see issue # JDK-6560193 [4]). A third party can manipulate file time headers in a TAR file by placing a number with a very long fraction (300,000 digits) or a number with exponent notation (such as “9e9999999”) within a file modification time header, and the parsing of files with these headers will take hours instead of seconds, leading to a denial of service via exhaustion of CPU resources. This issue is similar to CVE-2012-2098 [5]. [1]: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMPRESS-612 [2]: https://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/utilities/pax.html#tag_20_92_13_05 [3]: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/java/math/BigDecimal.html [4]: https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-6560193 [5]: https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2012-2098 Only applications using CompressorStreamFactory class (with auto-detection of file types), TarArchiveInputStream and TarFile classes to parse TAR files are impacted. Since this code was introduced in v1.22, only that version and later versions are impacted. | ||||
