CVE-2024-1635 | 1 Redhat | 18 Amq Streams, Apache Camel Spring Boot, Build Keycloak and 15 more | 2025-04-28 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in Undertow. This vulnerability impacts a server that supports the wildfly-http-client protocol. Whenever a malicious user opens and closes a connection with the HTTP port of the server and then closes the connection immediately, the server will end with both memory and open file limits exhausted at some point, depending on the amount of memory available. At HTTP upgrade to remoting, the WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit leaks connections if RemotingConnection is closed by Remoting ServerConnectionOpenListener. Because the remoting connection originates in Undertow as part of the HTTP upgrade, there is an external layer to the remoting connection. This connection is unaware of the outermost layer when closing the connection during the connection opening procedure. Hence, the Undertow WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit is not notified of the closed connection in this scenario. Because WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit creates a timeout task, the whole dependency tree leaks via that task, which is added to XNIO WorkerThread. So, the workerThread points to the Undertow conduit, which contains the connections and causes the leak.
CVE-2021-37533 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 4 Commons Net, Debian Linux, Camel Quarkus and 1 more | 2025-04-24 | 6.5 Medium |
Prior to Apache Commons Net 3.9.0, Net's FTP client trusts the host from PASV response by default. A malicious server can redirect the Commons Net code to use a different host, but the user has to connect to the malicious server in the first place. This may lead to leakage of information about services running on the private network of the client. The default in version 3.9.0 is now false to ignore such hosts, as cURL does. See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NET-711.
CVE-2022-39368 | 2 Eclipse, Redhat | 3 Californium, Camel K, Camel Spring Boot | 2025-04-23 | 8.2 High |
Eclipse Californium is a Java implementation of RFC7252 - Constrained Application Protocol for IoT Cloud services. In versions prior to 3.7.0, and 2.7.4, Californium is vulnerable to a Denial of Service. Failing handshakes don't cleanup counters for throttling, causing the threshold to be reached without being released again. This results in permanently dropping records. The issue was reported for certificate based handshakes, but may also affect PSK based handshakes. It generally affects client and server as well. This issue is patched in version 3.7.0 and 2.7.4. There are no known workarounds. main: commit 726bac57659410da463dcf404b3e79a7312ac0b9 2.7.x: commit 5648a0c27c2c2667c98419254557a14bac2b1f3f
CVE-2022-41881 | 3 Debian, Netty, Redhat | 14 Debian Linux, Netty, Camel Quarkus and 11 more | 2025-04-22 | 5.3 Medium |
Netty project is an event-driven asynchronous network application framework. In versions prior to 4.1.86.Final, a StackOverflowError can be raised when parsing a malformed crafted message due to an infinite recursion. This issue is patched in version 4.1.86.Final. There is no workaround, except using a custom HaProxyMessageDecoder.
CVE-2022-45693 | 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Jettison, Camel Spring Boot and 7 more | 2025-04-22 | 7.5 High |
Jettison before v1.5.2 was discovered to contain a stack overflow via the map parameter. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted string.
CVE-2022-46364 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 10 Cxf, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 7 more | 2025-04-22 | 9.8 Critical |
A SSRF vulnerability in parsing the href attribute of XOP:Include in MTOM requests in versions of Apache CXF before 3.5.5 and 3.4.10 allows an attacker to perform SSRF style attacks on webservices that take at least one parameter of any type.
CVE-2022-46363 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 9 Cxf, Camel K, Camel Spring Boot and 6 more | 2025-04-22 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability in Apache CXF before versions 3.5.5 and 3.4.10 allows an attacker to perform a remote directory listing or code exfiltration. The vulnerability only applies when the CXFServlet is configured with both the static-resources-list and redirect-query-check attributes. These attributes are not supposed to be used together, and so the vulnerability can only arise if the CXF service is misconfigured.
CVE-2021-22573 | 2 Google, Redhat | 3 Oauth Client Library For Java, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Fuse | 2025-04-21 | 8.7 High |
The vulnerability is that IDToken verifier does not verify if token is properly signed. Signature verification makes sure that the token's payload comes from valid provider, not from someone else. An attacker can provide a compromised token with custom payload. The token will pass the validation on the client side. We recommend upgrading to version 1.33.3 or above
CVE-2022-38751 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Snakeyaml Project | 9 Debian Linux, Amq Broker, Camel Spring Boot and 6 more | 2025-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Using snakeYAML to parse untrusted YAML files may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow.
CVE-2022-40149 | 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat | 11 Debian Linux, Jettison, Amq Streams and 8 more | 2025-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Jettison to parse untrusted XML or JSON data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-40150 | 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Jettison, Amq Streams and 7 more | 2025-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Jettison to parse untrusted XML or JSON data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by Out of memory. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-40151 | 2 Redhat, Xstream Project | 5 Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 2 more | 2025-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Xstream to seralize XML data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-40152 | 3 Fasterxml, Redhat, Xstream Project | 9 Woodstox, Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot and 6 more | 2025-04-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Woodstox to parse XML data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS) if DTD support is enabled. If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-41853 | 3 Debian, Hsqldb, Redhat | 8 Debian Linux, Hypersql Database, Camel Spring Boot and 5 more | 2025-04-21 | 8 High |
Those using java.sql.Statement or java.sql.PreparedStatement in hsqldb (HyperSQL DataBase) to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to a remote code execution attack. By default it is allowed to call any static method of any Java class in the classpath resulting in code execution. The issue can be prevented by updating to 2.7.1 or by setting the system property "hsqldb.method_class_names" to classes which are allowed to be called. For example, System.setProperty("hsqldb.method_class_names", "abc") or Java argument -Dhsqldb.method_class_names="abc" can be used. From version 2.7.1 all classes by default are not accessible except those in java.lang.Math and need to be manually enabled.
CVE-2023-5685 | 1 Redhat | 12 Apache-camel-spring-boot, Build Keycloak, Camel Spring Boot and 9 more | 2025-04-16 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in XNIO. The XNIO NotifierState that can cause a Stack Overflow Exception when the chain of notifier states becomes problematically large can lead to uncontrolled resource management and a possible denial of service (DoS).
CVE-2023-44487 | 32 Akka, Amazon, Apache and 29 more | 364 Http Server, Opensearch Data Prepper, Apisix and 361 more | 2025-04-12 | 7.5 High |
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
CVE-2022-41966 | 2 Redhat, Xstream Project | 10 Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 7 more | 2025-04-11 | 8.2 High |
XStream serializes Java objects to XML and back again. Versions prior to 1.4.20 may allow a remote attacker to terminate the application with a stack overflow error, resulting in a denial of service only via manipulation the processed input stream. The attack uses the hash code implementation for collections and maps to force recursive hash calculation causing a stack overflow. This issue is patched in version 1.4.20 which handles the stack overflow and raises an InputManipulationException instead. A potential workaround for users who only use HashMap or HashSet and whose XML refers these only as default map or set, is to change the default implementation of java.util.Map and java.util per the code example in the referenced advisory. However, this implies that your application does not care about the implementation of the map and all elements are comparable.
CVE-2025-2240 | 1 Redhat | 10 Apache Camel Spring Boot, Apicurio Registry, Camel Quarkus and 7 more | 2025-04-02 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in Smallrye, where smallrye-fault-tolerance is vulnerable to an out-of-memory (OOM) issue. This vulnerability is externally triggered when calling the metrics URI. Every call creates a new object within meterMap and may lead to a denial of service (DoS) issue.
CVE-2024-6162 | 1 Redhat | 11 Apache Camel Spring Boot, Build Keycloak, Camel Spring Boot and 8 more | 2025-03-25 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in Undertow, where URL-encoded request paths can be mishandled during concurrent requests on the AJP listener. This issue arises because the same buffer is used to decode the paths for multiple requests simultaneously, leading to incorrect path information being processed. As a result, the server may attempt to access the wrong path, causing errors such as "404 Not Found" or other application failures. This flaw can potentially lead to a denial of service, as legitimate resources become inaccessible due to the path mix-up.
CVE-2022-4492 | 1 Redhat | 16 Build Of Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot, Integration Camel For Spring Boot and 13 more | 2025-03-12 | 7.5 High |
The undertow client is not checking the server identity presented by the server certificate in https connections. This is a compulsory step (at least it should be performed by default) in https and in http/2. I would add it to any TLS client protocol. |
