| CVE-2025-68328 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: stratix10-svc: fix bug in saving controller data Fix the incorrect usage of platform_set_drvdata and dev_set_drvdata. They both are of the same data and overrides each other. This resulted in the rmmod of the svc driver to fail and throw a kernel panic for kthread_stop and fifo free. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68734 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isdn: mISDN: hfcsusb: fix memory leak in hfcsusb_probe() In hfcsusb_probe(), the memory allocated for ctrl_urb gets leaked when setup_instance() fails with an error code. Fix that by freeing the urb before freeing the hw structure. Also change the error paths to use the goto ladder style. Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68339 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atm/fore200e: Fix possible data race in fore200e_open() Protect access to fore200e->available_cell_rate with rate_mtx lock in the error handling path of fore200e_open() to prevent a data race. The field fore200e->available_cell_rate is a shared resource used to track available bandwidth. It is concurrently accessed by fore200e_open(), fore200e_close(), and fore200e_change_qos(). In fore200e_open(), the lock rate_mtx is correctly held when subtracting vcc->qos.txtp.max_pcr from available_cell_rate to reserve bandwidth. However, if the subsequent call to fore200e_activate_vcin() fails, the function restores the reserved bandwidth by adding back to available_cell_rate without holding the lock. This introduces a race condition because available_cell_rate is a global device resource shared across all VCCs. If the error path in fore200e_open() executes concurrently with operations like fore200e_close() or fore200e_change_qos() on other VCCs, a read-modify-write race occurs. Specifically, the error path reads the rate without the lock. If another CPU acquires the lock and modifies the rate (e.g., releasing bandwidth in fore200e_close()) between this read and the subsequent write, the error path will overwrite the concurrent update with a stale value. This results in incorrect bandwidth accounting. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68331 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: uas: fix urb unmapping issue when the uas device is remove during ongoing data transfer When a UAS device is unplugged during data transfer, there is a probability of a system panic occurring. The root cause is an access to an invalid memory address during URB callback handling. Specifically, this happens when the dma_direct_unmap_sg() function is called within the usb_hcd_unmap_urb_for_dma() interface, but the sg->dma_address field is 0 and the sg data structure has already been freed. The SCSI driver sends transfer commands by invoking uas_queuecommand_lck() in uas.c, using the uas_submit_urbs() function to submit requests to USB. Within the uas_submit_urbs() implementation, three URBs (sense_urb, data_urb, and cmd_urb) are sequentially submitted. Device removal may occur at any point during uas_submit_urbs execution, which may result in URB submission failure. However, some URBs might have been successfully submitted before the failure, and uas_submit_urbs will return the -ENODEV error code in this case. The current error handling directly calls scsi_done(). In the SCSI driver, this eventually triggers scsi_complete() to invoke scsi_end_request() for releasing the sgtable. The successfully submitted URBs, when being unlinked to giveback, call usb_hcd_unmap_urb_for_dma() in hcd.c, leading to exceptions during sg unmapping operations since the sg data structure has already been freed. This patch modifies the error condition check in the uas_submit_urbs() function. When a UAS device is removed but one or more URBs have already been successfully submitted to USB, it avoids immediately invoking scsi_done() and save the cmnd to devinfo->cmnd array. If the successfully submitted URBs is completed before devinfo->resetting being set, then the scsi_done() function will be called within uas_try_complete() after all pending URB operations are finalized. Otherwise, the scsi_done() function will be called within uas_zap_pending(), which is executed after usb_kill_anchored_urbs(). The error handling only takes effect when uas_queuecommand_lck() calls uas_submit_urbs() and returns the error value -ENODEV . In this case, the device is disconnected, and the flow proceeds to uas_disconnect(), where uas_zap_pending() is invoked to call uas_try_complete(). | ||||

| CVE-2025-39996 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: b2c2: Fix use-after-free causing by irq_check_work in flexcop_pci_remove The original code uses cancel_delayed_work() in flexcop_pci_remove(), which does not guarantee that the delayed work item irq_check_work has fully completed if it was already running. This leads to use-after-free scenarios where flexcop_pci_remove() may free the flexcop_device while irq_check_work is still active and attempts to dereference the device. A typical race condition is illustrated below: CPU 0 (remove) | CPU 1 (delayed work callback) flexcop_pci_remove() | flexcop_pci_irq_check_work() cancel_delayed_work() | flexcop_device_kfree(fc_pci->fc_dev) | | fc = fc_pci->fc_dev; // UAF This is confirmed by a KASAN report: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __run_timer_base.part.0+0x7d7/0x8c0 Write of size 8 at addr ffff8880093aa8c8 by task bash/135 ... | CVE-2025-39995 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: i2c: tc358743: Fix use-after-free bugs caused by orphan timer in probe The state->timer is a cyclic timer that schedules work_i2c_poll and delayed_work_enable_hotplug, while rearming itself. Using timer_delete() fails to guarantee the timer isn't still running when destroyed, similarly cancel_delayed_work() cannot ensure delayed_work_enable_hotplug has terminated if already executing. During probe failure after timer initialization, these may continue running as orphans and reference the already-freed tc358743_state object through tc358743_irq_poll_timer. | CVE-2025-39992 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: swap: check for stable address space before operating on the VMA It is possible to hit a zero entry while traversing the vmas in unuse_mm() called from swapoff path and accessing it causes the OOPS: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000446--> Loading the memory from offset 0x40 on the XA_ZERO_ENTRY as address. Mem abort info: ESR = 0x0000000096000005 EC = 0x25: DABT (current EL), IL = 32 bits SET = 0, FnV = 0 EA = 0, S1PTW = 0 FSC = 0x05: level 1 translation fault The issue is manifested from the below race between the fork() on a process and swapoff: fork(dup_mmap()) swapoff(unuse_mm) --------------- ----------------- 1) Identical mtree is built using __mt_dup(). 2) copy_pte_range()--> copy_nonpresent_pte(): The dst mm is added into the mmlist to be visible to the swapoff operation. 3) Fatal signal is sent to the parent process(which is the current during the fork) thus skip the duplication of the vmas and mark the vma range with XA_ZERO_ENTRY as a marker for this process that helps during exit_mmap(). 4) swapoff is tried on the 'mm' added to the 'mmlist' as part of the 2. 5) unuse_mm(), that iterates through the vma's of this 'mm' will hit the non-NULL zero entry and operating on this zero entry as a vma is resulting into the oops. The proper fix would be around not exposing this partially-valid tree to others when droping the mmap lock, which is being solved with [1]. A simpler solution would be checking for MMF_UNSTABLE, as it is set if mm_struct is not fully initialized in dup_mmap(). Thanks to Liam/Lorenzo/David for all the suggestions in fixing this issue. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: ensure sane device mtu in tunnels Another syzbot report [1] with no reproducer hints at a bug in ip6_gre tunnel (dev:ip6gretap0) Since ipv6 mcast code makes sure to read dev->mtu once and applies a sanity check on it (see commit b9b312a7a451 "ipv6: mcast: better catch silly mtu values"), a remaining possibility is that a layer is able to set dev->mtu to an underflowed value (high order bit set). This could happen indeed in ip6gre_tnl_link_config_route(), ip6_tnl_link_config() and ipip6_tunnel_bind_dev() Make sure to sanitize mtu value in a local variable before it is written once on dev->mtu, as lockless readers could catch wrong temporary value. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: set goal start correctly in ext4_mb_normalize_request We need to set ac_g_ex to notify the goal start used in ext4_mb_find_by_goal. Set ac_g_ex instead of ac_f_ex in ext4_mb_normalize_request. Besides we should assure goal start is in range [first_data_block, blocks_count) as ext4_mb_initialize_context does. [ Added a check to make sure size is less than ar->pright; otherwise we could end up passing an underflowed value of ar->pright - size to ext4_get_group_no_and_offset(), which will trigger a BUG_ON later on. - TYT ] | ||||
