CVE-2023-46049 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
LLVM 15.0.0 has a NULL pointer dereference in the parseOneMetadata() function via a crafted pdflatex.fmt file (or perhaps a crafted .o file) to llvm-lto. NOTE: this is disputed because the relationship between pdflatex.fmt and any LLVM language front end is not explained, and because a crash of the llvm-lto application should be categorized as a usability problem.
CVE-2023-46048 1 Tug 1 Tex Live 2026-04-15 6.2 Medium
Tex Live 944e257 has a NULL pointer dereference in texk/web2c/pdftexdir/writet1.c. NOTE: this is disputed because it should be categorized as a usability problem.
CVE-2023-45935 2026-04-15 4.2 Medium
Qt 6 through 6.6 was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the function QXcbConnection::initializeAllAtoms(). NOTE: this is disputed because it is not expected that an X application should continue to run when there is arbitrary anomalous behavior from the X server.
CVE-2023-45925 1 Midnight Commander 1 Midnight Commander 2026-04-15 N/A
GNU Midnight Commander 4.8.29-146-g299d9a2fb was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the function x_error_handler() at tty/x11conn.c. NOTE: this is disputed because it should be categorized as a usability problem (an X operation silently fails).

libglxproto.c in OpenGL libglvnd bb06db5a was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the function glXGetDrawableScreen(). NOTE: this is disputed because there are no common situations in which users require uninterrupted operation with an attacker-controller server.
CVE-2023-37035 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium
A Null pointer dereference vulnerability in the Mobile Management Entity (MME) in Magma <= 1.8.0 (fixed in v1.9 commit 08472ba98b8321f802e95f5622fa90fec2dea486) allows network-adjacent attackers to crash the MME via an S1AP `S1Setup Request` packet missing an expected `Global eNB ID` field.
CVE-2026-32696 2 Emqx, Nanomq 2 Nanomq, Nanomq 2026-04-14 3.1 Low
NanoMQ MQTT Broker (NanoMQ) is an all-around Edge Messaging Platform. In NanoMQ version 0.24.6, after enabling auth.http_auth (HTTP authentication), when a client connects to the broker using MQTT CONNECT without providing username/password, and the configuration params uses the placeholders %u / %P (e.g., username="%u", password="%P"), the HTTP request construction phase enters auth_http.c:set_data(). This results in calling strlen() on a NULL pointer, causing a SIGSEGV crash. This crash can be triggered remotely, resulting in a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 0.24.7.

CVE-2026-31394 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mac80211: fix crash in ieee80211_chan_bw_change for AP_VLAN stations ieee80211_chan_bw_change() iterates all stations and accesses link->reserved.oper via sta->sdata->link[link_id]. For stations on AP_VLAN interfaces (e.g. 4addr WDS clients), sta->sdata points to the VLAN sdata, whose link never participates in chanctx reservations. This leaves link->reserved.oper zero-initialized with chan == NULL, causing a NULL pointer dereference in __ieee80211_sta_cap_rx_bw() when accessing chandef->chan->band during CSA. Resolve the VLAN sdata to its parent AP sdata using get_bss_sdata() before accessing link data. [also change sta->sdata in ARRAY_SIZE even if it doesn't matter]
CVE-2026-23467 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/dmc: Fix an unlikely NULL pointer deference at probe intel_dmc_update_dc6_allowed_count() oopses when DMC hasn't been initialized, and dmc is thus NULL. That would be the case when the call path is intel_power_domains_init_hw() -> {skl,bxt,icl}_display_core_init() -> gen9_set_dc_state() -> intel_dmc_update_dc6_allowed_count(), as intel_power_domains_init_hw() is called *before* intel_dmc_init(). However, gen9_set_dc_state() calls intel_dmc_update_dc6_allowed_count() conditionally, depending on the current and target DC states. At probe, the target is disabled, but if DC6 is enabled, the function is called, and an oops follows. Apparently it's quite unlikely that DC6 is enabled at probe, as we haven't seen this failure mode before. It is also strange to have DC6 enabled at boot, since that would require the DMC firmware (loaded by BIOS); the BIOS loading the DMC firmware and the driver stopping / reprogramming the firmware is a poorly specified sequence and as such unlikely an intentional BIOS behaviour. It's more likely that BIOS is leaving an unintentionally enabled DC6 HW state behind (without actually loading the required DMC firmware for this). The tracking of the DC6 allowed counter only works if starting / stopping the counter depends on the _SW_ DC6 state vs. the current _HW_ DC6 state (since stopping the counter requires the DC5 counter captured when the counter was started). Thus, using the HW DC6 state is incorrect and it also leads to the above oops. Fix both issues by using the SW DC6 state for the tracking. This is v2 of the fix originally sent by Jani, updated based on the first Link: discussion below. (cherry picked from commit 2344b93af8eb5da5d496b4e0529d35f0f559eaf0)
CVE-2026-23309 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Add NULL pointer check to trigger_data_free() If trigger_data_alloc() fails and returns NULL, event_hist_trigger_parse() jumps to the out_free error path. While kfree() safely handles a NULL pointer, trigger_data_free() does not. This causes a NULL pointer dereference in trigger_data_free() when evaluating data->cmd_ops->set_filter. Fix the problem by adding a NULL pointer check to trigger_data_free(). The problem was found by an experimental code review agent based on gemini-3.1-pro while reviewing backports into v6.18.y.
CVE-2026-23285 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drbd: fix null-pointer dereference on local read error In drbd_request_endio(), READ_COMPLETED_WITH_ERROR is passed to __req_mod() with a NULL peer_device: __req_mod(req, what, NULL, &m); The READ_COMPLETED_WITH_ERROR handler then unconditionally passes this NULL peer_device to drbd_set_out_of_sync(), which dereferences it, causing a null-pointer dereference. Fix this by obtaining the peer_device via first_peer_device(device), matching how drbd_req_destroy() handles the same situation.
CVE-2026-23242 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-13 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/siw: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference in header processing If siw_get_hdr() returns -EINVAL before set_rx_fpdu_context(), qp->rx_fpdu can be NULL. The error path in siw_tcp_rx_data() dereferences qp->rx_fpdu->more_ddp_segs without checking, which may lead to a NULL pointer deref. Only check more_ddp_segs when rx_fpdu is present. Suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine. From version 8.0.0 to before version 8.0.4, use of the "tls.alpn" rule keyword can cause Suricata to crash with a NULL dereference. This issue has been patched in version 8.0.4.
CVE-2026-34761 1 Ellanetworks 2 Core, Ella Core 2026-04-08 5.8 Medium
Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to version 1.8.0, Ella Core panics when processing a NGAP handover failure message. An attacker able to cause a gNodeB to send NGAP handover failure messages to Ella Core can crash the process, causing service disruption for all connected subscribers. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.0.
CVE-2026-5590 1 Zephyrproject-rtos 1 Zephyr 2026-04-07 6.4 Medium
A race condition during TCP connection teardown can cause tcp_recv() to operate on a connection that has already been released. If tcp_conn_search() returns NULL while processing a SYN packet, a NULL pointer derived from stale context data is passed to tcp_backlog_is_full() and dereferenced without validation, leading to a crash.
CVE-2026-34874 2 Arm, Mbed-tls 2 Mbed Tls, Mbedtls 2026-04-07 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS through 3.6.5 and 4.x through 4.0.0. There is a NULL pointer dereference in distinguished name parsing that allows an attacker to write to address 0.
